Learning using modern methods.

Learning is designed using modern methodology, with the app tracking word memory. Very comprehensive with additional learning for verb usage, sentence structure and conversations both written and audio that are natural and realistic. The optional extras to improve learning, like timed breaks binaural beat audio and meditations for learning are exceptional.

The engine is AI, and takes things literally.

The engine is AI. It says so. However, this means that translations are literal. At least, that is what I find in English. For example, the phrase "to help out" has the sense of helping the cat out at night, rather than the more general giving of aid. The associated picture is of someone helping another out of a wheelchair. Another - "to take place": think of taking someone's place, not an occurrence, an event taking place.
The translations themselves are suspect. A picture of a man paddling a canoe is given; the word asked for is 'rudder'; the supplied answer is "oar".
A major defect of the presentation is that a word is given with no indication as to whether it is a noun, a verb, an adjective or an adverb.
Worst of these is the treatment of words that have more than one meaning. For example, the word 'lie' can mean the lie of a golf ball - its situation on the ground - or an untruth, or the telling of an untruth. The visual clue given for the first meaning is of a clothed woman resting on a bed; the visual clue for the second is of a couple seated side by side and looking unhappy. "hiring out" is translated as "video club"!
The vocabulary itself is oddly chosen. Besides 'rudder', it includes 'inherit', "airport building" ( I did not know buildings on an airport had a special name! ), "babysit", "suburb", "compartment".

Beware of this course!

Beware of this course!
At one point, my acquired score disappeared. I had to start the course all over again. Not bad... a good review... but the error kept repeating, and my learning progress stalled at 12%.
They're never reachable by phone and don't answer questions on their website!
Useless!

My payment didn't went through and no answers in contact

My payment didn't went through. They offer iDeal but that does not work. My money was gone and only after 3 days and 3 Paypal warnings I got my money back. I wrote back to 17-minutes, name Udo Gollub, but no answer at all. Only reminders to pay with many acclamation. I wrote 7 mails back that I don't want the course and don't trust them anymore. No answers ever. In total in 4 weeks time 9 mails with "Urgent message - pay".
