Mr Plumber in Melbourne is also known…

Mr Plumber in Melbourne is also known as 1800plumber and various other similar names, it is the trading name of Rescue Enterprises Pty Ltd.
BE WARNED this company is very doggy, poor standard of work, inflated charge & intimidating attitude. They quoted me on a Braemar 4 Star ducted heating unit but turned up with a bottom of the range Bonaire 3 Star unit they claimed was "exactly the same and same price". The plumber who attended was intimidating, irritable and threatening, wouldn't answer my questions on the Bonaire unit. He refused to lower the price and demanded immediate payment via eftpos only. Refused info such as their business email, bank details, business name and phone number of the electrician who they had arranged to come at another time to put in an electrical power point for the new unit.
They dug a ditch and installed my new almost $3,000 unit lower than ground level, the ditch filled with rain water a few hrs later and the unit sits in 1 inch / 10 cms of water every time it rains. I was refused a Certificate of Compliance, was told it "wasn't needed because the new unit was replacing an old unit". I was told I was "a difficult customer" for noticing their unethical practices.
The “plumber” instructed his 2nd year apprentice to do the job and spent 3 hrs here during which time they had lunch and several smokos. Cigarette butts and rubbish were left all around the heating unit. A nightmare experience I'm still sorting out with help of VBA & VCAT
