Excellent fast service from Martin from start to finish. Choices and limitations explained clearly and blinds fitted within days.

After receiving a recommendation to use 1st Choice Blinds Edinburgh, I was really disappointed in the (lack of) service provided.

I requested a quote for blinds and received speedy responses and a visit to my house to measure up.

Some of the blinds would've been custom-built due to the size of my windows and it was explained this may affect the workings of the blinds.

Hesitant to pay hundreds of pounds for the complete order, and unable to find information on the website, I asked what the warranty/guarantee was should anything go wrong or if we were unsatisfied for whatever reason. I received replies that seemed a little standoffish and defensive but providing an answer nonetheless.

I opted to go ahead but received no further communication despite a follow up message a week later to check on the progress.

I was impressed by the speed of service - with only a few days between measurement and discussion of types / colours of blind and actual fitting. Very happy with the blinds and would recommend to others and use again myself.

Brilliant service. Martin was very friendly and professional. He had my whole 4-bed house fitted out very quickly and the prices were very reasonable, in addition, he always showed up on time. We went for roller blinds and Venetian and they looks really great, there was plenty of choices as well. I Highly recommend 1st Choice Blinds

The blinds are well made by another factory and look good. The service was speedy and prompt. I bought 16 blinds. However, the fitter insisted that the short wands were the only ones available, no long wands at all apparently. But I found them on Amazon. He then told me that he preferred short wands himself and that's what I should have in my home, questioning why on earth I would like the long wands. Insisting that I could still stretch to reach them. He did not give me a choice of length of wands and insisted I use the short ones. I had to buy them from Amazon. I asked for a refund for the cost of the wands and he refused asking instead to prove to him that I had a more expensive quote from another blinds service. To be sure, I paid him in full and on time. If I was a big strong man, I would not have had this attitude to deal with. So if you are a woman I would not recommend this company.
As stated above, I paid in full and on time because I did not want an argument in my house. He asked me to leave a review. The blinds are good, but you can only get short wands with this company. The fitter's response speaks for itself.

I think 'excellent', 'straightforward' and 'stress-free' best describe our experience with 1st Choice Blinds. We placed an order for quite a few wooden venetian blinds so the delivery time took few weeks, but Martin kept updating us on the progress. The installation itself was really quick and professional and the quality of the blinds is top-notch. We are really pleased with the whole service from start to finish. Thank you Martin!

Fantastic experience. Called for a fitting and they had someone out the same week. Had to wait a few weeks for delivery and they called to book in a time for install as soon as they received the blinds. Install was quick and easy and the whole process ran smoothly. Highly recommended for a stress free service!

Martin visited my property to give me a quote for vertical blackout blinds but ended up giving me great advice on what he thought was best suited for my needs. Very happy with his advice, service and the blinds themselves. I ended up with a mixture of white vertical and roller blinds and they are all lovely and the price was amazing! I even managed to get a number for a carpet fitter too. Martin was quick to come out and visit, as well as really quick to fit the blinds. Top notch service all round and would highly recommend this company!

We bought several blinds - a mix of roller and vertical, large and small. The price quoted by 1st Choice Blinds was much cheaper than the competition and we had most of our blinds with a week of placing the order, with the remaining couple the delivered the following week. Fitting was done by the person who provided the initial quote so we had continuity of contact. Service was excellent and we are delighted with the quality of the blinds. I would happily recommend the company.
