I moved to Russia for work. Informed 1und1, sent them all the papers. A year later after dozens after dozens of emails they acknowledged my right for ‘Sonderkündigung’. But ... they want me to pay 700 euros for the 12 months when I havent been using their service.
Never ever buy anything from them.
1&1 cancelled my order for one of their DSL packages, but somehow forgot to notify me about this development. I made the order from abroad (while I was on holiday) and promplty received an email confirming that my order (which was made for a German address) was succesfully placed. After returning to Germany and not hearing anything from the company for 3 weeks, I decided to make a call and see if they could tell me when to expect their technician.
That's when I was told that my order was cancelled. Had I not called, I'd still be waiting for their technician to call. Appalling service!
