Unprofessional in handling a legitimate complaint - Buyer beware!

After recieving a Pizza stone in the size 61.5 cm x 31.5 cm, when ordering a stone which is supposed to be 60 x 30 cm, i wrote a polite complaint by email to the seller, explaing carefully that the stone was cut too large to fit inside our AEG oven,

After two days without a reply i resend the complaint. After four days without reply , I send a third email, this time informing the selller, that unless there was a response inside four days, I would consider writing negative reviews of his store online, (Something I would much prefer to avoid)

Well. I finally got a reply, but not a normal one!

Firstly i was outright called a liar. The seller refused my claim, stating that they only have stones in 60 x 30 cm, which is a ridiculous claim to make, when you have the physical proof of the opposite available!

You can clearly see that the stone is cut to size at two of the four sides, from a larger piece. The materal is clearly bought by the seller, in longer and larger sizes, and then cut to size on site. This is even explained on the sellers own site!

A pizzastone like this is just burnt clay, and is very brittle. It is not something you can cut unless you have a specialist cutting tool, and experience. It is not a DIY job!.

Secondly i was only given the option return the Stone back at my own expense to have it cut to correct size (It would cost 85 Euro in shipping costs!)

The quality of the stone seems good, I have no complaints in that respect, But I now have to find a specialist, to have the Pizza stone cut to correct size, at my own expense. That is not reasonable!
