Wonderful company, bad reviews are plants
I have to write a review after seeing all of the bad reviews on here. I have bought 4 shirts and a jacket from 32 Bar Blues (each an seperate transaction). All four shirts are fantastic. I recommend looking at the description for each shirt and noting the weight of the fabric as some of them are medium-heavy and are listed that way. If you want a lite summer shirt, buy a linen shirt as opposed to a heavy Dobby design. The quality of each shirt is fantastic. These are not “wal-mart” shirts by any means, lol. They are made beautifully and are exactly as advertised. Every order I placed was promptly packed and shipped. Of all the things I ordered the jacket was the only thing that I felt did not fit me right. So I sent it back. I did not call or email. I simply filled out the included return / exchange form with what I was sending back and what I wanted in exchange and I sent it back using the included returns label. I dropped it off at the post office on Tuesday afternoon, and by that Friday my return was processed and my exchange item was sent out. I also sent an email to them at one point just asking as a question about an an item being restocked. They sent me a reply that same afternoon. These guys have wonderful customer service, fill orders promptly and process returns very quickly. Their products are very nice and are exactly as described. As I stated before it helps to note the fabric weight of each garment you are interested in. It also helps to just do a few google searches about things like Dobby fabrics / looms, jacquard designs, twill, herringbone, etc. to familiarize yourself with these types of fabrics and designs. As stated before, “these are not wal-mart shirts” as someone described. And one shirt from one loom is going to have a completely different feel and weight compared to a shirt from a different type of fabric and loom. I do agree that some of their prices are a bit high. But considering the quality of the shirts it is worth it to me as I feel I will have these shirts for a very long time WITH THE PROPER CARE. Again, knowing the best way to take care of each individual type of shirt is really important. Some types of fabric/ loom designs are going to be more fragile than others. If you want a thin shirt that you can beat around and just throw in the washer and tumble dryer, by all means do go shop at Walmart. But don’t expect to just throw these shirts in a laundry pile and to wash them with everything else and not be damaged. If you’re going to pay over $100 for a shirt, read the damn care tag and follow the instructions. I feel like the majority of these bad reviews are either plants, plugs or people that don’t know what they are talking about. One guy even plugged the Cobalt site which is actually their sister company, lol. And regardless of it being a sister company the clothes on that site are very average with an everyday douchebag kind of feel compared to 32 Bar Blues. Read the descriptions and do a little due diligence before you throw your money down. Maybe then you won’t waste yours and everyone else’s time writing bad, unqualified reviews.

I have bought several items from 32BB and overall I love this company. I think a lot of people are disappointed in what they receive mainly because of the uniqueness of many of the items. I love the diversity of the clothing line and quite frankly it’s a lot of stuff you don’t see anywhere else. I’ve had nothing but very good correspondence with customer service, even getting phone calls to inform me of exchange information. I also really like that they include a return label with each order. Im not crazy they use USPS but that’s a minor thing.
Shrinking Product and Horrible Customer Service
I have purchased many times from their sister company, carbon2cobalt, so I felt comfortable ordering according to the size chart for 32 Bar Blues. I bought a cable knit, quarter zip in charcoal and I really like the item. Problem is, after washing and line drying, the garment shrunk so much I can't wear it. I wrote to them twice on their contact us form and got NO response. I finally called them today and I was told the best they could do was to offer me a 15% discount on a future order. I told them they are going to lose a customer over this and they said, "fine." Horrible customer service and shrinking garments that do not maintain their own published size guide.
I ordered the Bloozey Indigo Waffle shirt and Regret it
I ordered the Bloozey Indigo Waffle shirt for $96 dollars. I would have expected at very least, a decent garmet.
I received a shirt that at best, is a WalMart quality shirt that smells like pastic.
I got suckered by their relentless adverts online. The shirt looks great on the advert. It is worth 15 bucks.

well overpriced, poor quality poorly stitched.
scam
Terrible customer service
I received a shirt as a gift. I am trying to exchange it for a different shirt. I filled out a contact form a week ago, no response. I emailed customer service, no response. I tried calling, no answer, just a voicemail to leave a message. I did not bother.
Have a lot of time to wait
This company takes months to complete an order with no communication.
Non-Existent Customer Servie
I received a gift from this company and after 4 emails and 2 voicemails nobody has cared to get me a response and it’s been over a month. I highly recommend nobody do business with this firm.
customer service nonexistent
clothes are nice, sizes are a bit wonky, but customer service is nonexistent. Trying to do a size exchange, and it is extremely hard to get a response out of them at all.

No response from various customer service inquiries re order status.
Ordered Dec 18 and is now Jan 10. Customer service hours limited to Mon to Fri office hours. No response to email or voice messages. Closed entirely for 5 or more days from Jan 2 on to Jan 7.

Bought 2 shirts and they do not look as good as the pictures in the catalog. The pictures make it look like the shirts have nice texture while the actual shirts barely have any texture. The shirts are thin and flimsy:
Need to pay return shipping!
I ordered a very cool, looking knit button down shirt from the catalog. it came and I did not like the feel of the material when I tried it on. I sent it back and this company did not reimburse me the full amount I paid initially. They charge me for shipping the return! They sell clothes. If they don’t fit or you don’t like them, they charge a steep price for the return. Totally outrageous. Will never order another item from them
Just don’t buy anything from here
Just don’t buy anything from here. It’s way overpriced, $160 a shirt then they charge $20 for shipping on top of it, and it’s normal USPS snail mail. There is zero customer service. One of the worst, just stay away.
Stylish designs but
Stylish designs, but poor quality and way overpriced.
Very pleased overall!
After reading all the 1-star reviews, I gotta admit I was actually prepared to be disappointed by my recent purchased. 2 shirts and blue cardigan. To my surprise I am very happy with all 3! And I am a bit of a clothes horse. 1) the items all look just like the pics in the catalog. Big surprise! 2) the material and the construction are NOT cheap, very well made, very soft. 3) the cool and unique styles are of course the reason I ‘bit’ in the first place. These don’t look like off-the-shelf TJMaxx or Dillard’s. Very stylish.
Criticisms: 1) yes very pricey, but I think I’ll be wearing these clothes much longer than others. 2) it would helpful if the catalog had male models to see how the cut and ‘hang’ look.
Prices are ridiculous!
Prices are ridiculous and shipping is too expensive!
I ordered a short sleeved button down shirt for summer.
Although the color/pattern is nice, the fabric is so heavy, thick and scratchy, who would want to wear it in the summer when its hot? I will not shop with them again.
I will stick with Carbon2Colbalt where the quality and fabrics are fabulous and their customer service has been top notch for me.
I was almost suckered in by their drooling ads…
I was almost suckered in by their catalog. KInd of pricey but the promo adverts were tantalizing....photos good too. Turns out that internet retail has become a jungle of predatory companies looking for quick bucks by milking human (compliant) cows... If you are a lazy shopper, at least check out all the reviews you can...you'll be glad you did!
I bought a pair of fleece knit pants…
I bought a pair of fleece knit pants (item 623088) from Bar Blues at Christmas (2024). I have worn them a handful of times and noticed tiny lint balls forming before I washed them even once. After washing (gently and NOT drying), there are countless lint balls all over the pants. I was really surprised at what poor quality this company’s merchandise is considering the prices of their items are NOT cheap!! O, and the snap at the waist has never held in place. If I hardly bend over, it pops open.
Mind you this problem has come
about only from receiving the product on Christmas 2024 till mid March 2025!!!!
Lesson learned by me and I hope others that read this, the poor rating of this company is justified and buyer beware before purchasing!
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Today (1/23/25) I received an item that I ordered on 12/3/24 as a Christmas gift. This company ignored multiple emails and phone calls and I only received this item (a sweater) after I disputed the purchase with my credit card company. Needless to say the sweater is being returned tomorrow and I will never purchase from this unresponsive retailer again.
