3DPany C1 – A Promising Product and Excellent Customer Support

While waiting for the delivery of the Creality Filament Maker M1 & Shredder R1, I decided to purchase the 3DPany C1. Creality originally announced delivery for the first backers in June 2026, but I still don't have a confirmed delivery date. Meanwhile, I had accumulated quite a lot of 3D printing waste and wanted to start recycling it instead of simply storing it. 3DPany has already been on the market for some time and has experience in this field.

I've been testing the C1 for a few weeks and have produced six test spools of PLA filament so far. My first impressions are positive.

Pros:

The ability to recycle 3D printing waste and produce your own filament.

Great potential for users who print a lot and want to reduce plastic waste.

Excellent customer support and a clear commitment from the manufacturer to improving the product.

Cons:

The touchscreen is a little too sensitive.

Preparing the material requires some effort and proper shredding.

A blender is only an intermediate solution. I'm looking forward to the dedicated shredder, which should make it easier to achieve the right particle size.

During my tests, I noticed that finer and more uniformly shredded PLA produces a more stable filament extrusion process.

What I particularly appreciate is 3DPany's approach to its customers. The company is clearly developing its product and listening to user feedback. I'm confident that our experiences and suggestions will help make the machine even better.

Would I recommend the 3DPany C1? Definitely, especially to people who do a lot of FDM printing. The machine isn't cheap, and the investment may be difficult to justify for someone who prints only occasionally. However, if you print regularly and accumulate kilograms of waste, recycling and reusing that material could help recover some of the investment.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. The C1 still has a few minor shortcomings, but its potential is impressive. I appreciate both the recycling concept and the manufacturer's support. I'm looking forward to future improvements, especially the dedicated shredder.

In my opinion, this is a promising product for anyone who wants to reduce waste and reuse material from 3D printing.
