Today I went to buy a few items in…

Today I went to buy a few items in stock and wanted to order a few after consulting with them. Read their Covid-19 guidelines link and store hours. I’m 40 minutes away. I walk in and 5 guys behind counter none wearing a mask. 2 customers neither wearing a mask. Immediately 2 counter guys leave the front counter.
1 customer leaves. I’m wearing my mask waiting (I’m still at least 8 feet away) 2nd customer looks at me. All employees have looked at me (including 2 that left)
Not a hello, not a hand gesture, no can we help you? Nothing?
I walked out, still not a word.
I figured I could always just have order shipped.
I sent a direct email to them to address customer service.
I had not seen this site or the reviews yet.
Having seen these reviews I will make other arrangements with a reputable customer service oriented organization.

Terrible communication

Terrible communication regarding a back ordered part. 4WP did not respond to e-mails. I called 4WP customer service and was told I would get a call back on the ETA of the back ordered part. They did not respond. I am not impressed

I don,t understand why this place is…

I don,t understand why this place is still in business. They still owe me $146.00 since March. I will never buy from this company again ! And by looking at all the reviews most everybody has a complaint! Maybe someday there will be a civil lawsuit and I will get my money back.

This is my first and last experience…

This is my first and last experience with 4WP. I tried to place the order online and could not get answers so I went in person to the store. They said it would be a few days to get the order in and it is two weeks later and no response. I tried to call and got hung up on twice after being put on hold for over 40 minutes. I now am going to have to go back to the store and try to get refunded. Lost my business. Beware

Went to the Thousand oaks store after…

Went to the Thousand oaks store after seeing Toyo 33 13.50r15 open country on sale. Their sales guy did a fine job of signing me up and taking a 50% deposit (in cash) and telling me that 2tires were in Compton and two in Phoenix and would be at the store in a week. A week later was told the would be delayed maybe a few days. Got an email from corporate telling me the same. 10 days later am told online sales trump store sales and they have no control of that. And they can’t return my deposit ($700). Corporate has to send a check and that takes a month. Not doing business with these clowns again. Tried to sell me procomps that were not on sale of course. Classic bait and switch. Need negative stars

The worst customer service ever

The worst customer service ever! I ordered some parts from this company and after 6 days, never received shipping or tracking information...I called 4 times and after 20-30 minutes being on hold, the call was dropped. the 5th time after waiting for several minutes a rep told me that the items were being drop-shipped from the manufacturer but could not give me anymore info. I will never spend money with this company again.

These guys need to get some 4 wheel traction on their customer service.

I ordered a set of wheels for my truck from this company and while I eventually received my order after nearly a month I can say that 4 wheel parts store of south Tacoma, WA was less than a stellar experience. I ordered the wheels and they were out of stock, they were supposed to be shipped to my home but instead they were shipped to store so I had to call them and have them ship them out after I received an email saying they were ready for in store pickup. The person on the phone didn't seen to be the friendliest person in the world either. They also don't respond to emails AT ALL. I think I can safely say avoid this company despite the wheels being a good price.

Good bye 4WP !

I am so disappointed in this transaction words cannot describe. I purchased a new bumper and tire carrier and they completely dropped the ball on shipping.... trouble is they are completely rude and unapologetic about their error. I know I know... we need to blame everything on covid-19... well I decided to do my business with Extreme Terrain from this point forward and they are excellent to deal with and end their calls with "thank you for your business " very refreshing ! In the last 2 days I have bought a high end lift ( terraflex 4" pro) a wheel tire package and a front driveshaft ! Each transaction was seamless ! Thank you 4wp for steering me in another direction !!

Deceptive Practice & Horrible Service

I am not sure why I, or anyone in their right mind for that matter would continue to order from this company. The poor ratings and reviews are 100% deserved. The most disappointing and frustrating experience I have EVER had purchasing an item. Said items were in-stock when I placed my order, but after waiting several weeks without a ship date I contacted customer service and received a vague response a week later that the manufacturer is experiencing delays, which implies they did not have product available. Very deceptive. Finally received my items 3 months after initial order and it was wrong. Was shorted 1 tire that I ordered but received 2 tires that did not belong to me. Left voicemail for customer service manager immediately and also followed up with email documentation to customer service to file a claim. It's been 2 weeks and I have not had a response on how this will be corrected. Currently I am sitting on hold for 30+ minutes to try and talk to a live person that can provide me with a solution rather than another vague response with no actual result.

Horrible customer service!

Horrible customer service!
I would give this company zero stars if it was an option. 4wheelparts customer service was horrible! I had to call the company and sit on hold for hours multiple times to get updates on my order. I was finally told that Rancho no longer sold the lift kit I wanted and then they tried to up sell me to a more expensive lift. I called rancho directly and found out that 4wheelparts was wrong and rancho had my lift in stock. I sent several emails to 4wheelparts customer service and NEVER heard back. Ended up canceling my order. Do not give this company your money!

VERY DISAPPOINTED. Poor CS demeanor…no longer customer-center. Annoyed with customer questions.

4WP was my first go-to when I became a Jeep owner for advise on modifications and upgrades of aftermarket parts. They were invitational, helpful, fun, and very knowledgeable. I received excellent advice and proactive suggestions from the Indianapolis staff and above and beyond customer-centered service. They always listened to what my objectives or questions were and then presented some options. I did over $5000 of business with them and was looking to do more.

Today, I called to ask about features of the Method wheels I purchased from them. The CSR was very matter of fact and continuously kept saying he didn't know what I wanted from him. Previously, EVERY CSR/staff member was phenomenal and knew so much about so many products and applications. I tried to lighten the situation with a joke. Again, dry and flat. Ok - so maybe this person is having a bad day. I then learned that there were no other options with my wheels (which isn't true) and according to this CSR, the feature I was inquiring about was only an aesthetic feature. I proceeded to suggest that I needed to consider new wheels then and wanted help with a suggestion of a wheel that was similar in style and perhaps a wider rim, and then I would consider bigger tires. Silence. Then it was like he had a fit and he just kept saying that he had no idea what I needed. Ok. You are having a bad day and my call into your 800 customer service which is apparently an inconvenience. I told him I would let him go.

I called back. Same staff member answered (which I thought was odd for a call center) and I asked for his name...so he quickly put me on hold and transferred me to someone else (Ken maybe). As it turns out, the calls are directed to the Indy showroom. Neither rep was as friendly and helpful as EVERY SINGLE INTERACTION (phone and in person) I have had with 4WP staff prior to today. I will be taking all of my business to their competitor, where I have always received excellent and helpful staff members. I tried twice. Wish them luck and for them to understand their business should include some guidance of parts, install applications, pros and cons, and products in general.

Terrible Work and customer service!

Terrible service and customer service!

Start with the 2010 Jeep JK. Took it in for front and rear gears, all new axle seals, steering stabilizer, diff covers, and alignment. Go to drop it off the first time and some of the parts haven't arrived so we reschedule (30 min dirve, no one called). Parts arrive so i go to drop ot off a second time. Jeep is up on the lift and i decide to look at the parts. They were going to put in 456 gears instead of 513's which is what i wanted. Gears come in, so i drop it off a third time. Then they call and say they stripped the nuts on the front axle shafts, but they can have some tomorrow. Three days later still no axles so I go pay over $900 to buy new ones and have them overnight shipped from another off road shop. They call again and say the diff covers they got were the wrong ones but they have another brand they can use G2. I want the vented covers so we decide to put the stock covers on for now until the 500 mile fluid change. Go to pick it up and they never did the alignment. OK ill get it done in 500 miles when they put on the covers and change the fluid. Drop it off for the cover, fluid change, and diff covers 2 months later, when i drop it off he says covers are in. Girlfriend goes and picks it up a few hours later, she gets home i look at it and they put the damn g2 covers on. They were cheaper covers so i look at the reciept and they charged me to install them. I call the store, at this point im just keeping the diff covers. They apologize and say they will issue me a refund. Days later nothing on the card so I call back. They issued it as a store credit. What the hell.

OK. one bad experience doesn't define a company. After all they are the biggest Off road shop in town right? So i give them a second chance.

Round two. Bought a ne fifthwheel so i need Gears, all new axle seals, and airbags for the Ram. I go to the store and explain what i need. I ask him to come out and look at the truck for the airbags because it has an 8" lift with traction bars and a fifthwheel hitch. He says no need, these airbags will work, so i buy them. I am putting them on because we leave for a trip in 2 weeks and they cant get it in to do them in time. Get home, dont even take them out of the box and realize they wont work. They require a 6" spacer because of the lift, and the lower mounting bracket bolts to the axle right where the traction bars mount. Two days later off to the store again (30 min drive each way). Still haven't heard back on pricing and to schedule gears and seals. I speak to a different guy who actually comes out and looks at the truck. Return the airbag kit and he orders one he is sure will work. Get a call a few days later that they came in with the spacers. Off to the sore again (still nothing on the gears or seals btw). Im just glad they came in. Im leaving in less than a week and running out of time to get them installed. Within 2 min of getting to the store I realize it is the exact same style kit just different brand. It bolts to the axle in the exact same place and will not work. Box says right on it "will not work with a fifthwheel hitch. He says he will find one and call me. That was 3 weeks ago. Still nothing on the bags or gears.

Now the reason i decided to write this review. Went to drive the jeep today and heard a metal on metal noise so i turned around and pulled it into the shop. Slid under it and immediately found the noise. The bracke that bolts around the axle for the steering stabilizer was just hanging. No u bolts or hardware in sight. The axle has a gusset kit they drilled through to get the bolts in the correct place. It looks like my 12 year old son did it. The holes were oblonged to get the bolts in and they used the axle tube as leverage to oblong them. The tube is all thinned out, defeats the purpose of a gusset no? On top of that both the seals front and rear where the driveshafts connet are dumping fluid and the underside is covered in gear fluid. Leas than 7k miles since the work was done. This is quality work you get when you spend over 4k?

Slow and poor customer service

I ordered wheels online, they took my money but my order sat in process for 2 weeks.i called and was on hold for 1hr 30 min. Only to be told they didn't have the rims. Then they came back said they did have them. Almost a month later I get wheels installed. And supposedly balanced. I took my truck to a real tire shop and they correctly balanced my wheels. I will NEVER be back to 4WP as long as I live. Customer beware.

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Do not recommend!

Horrible! Ordered a tonneau cover, never received an email confirmation, no order number, nothing. Payment was taken though. Multiple emails and at this point an entire hour on hold. After 30 mins, someone answered and I told him the issue. He said, "let me get you to someone in customer service." Who the hell was he?!? What had I been waiting for? This will be my last order with them.

Worst customer service

I ordered a set of KMC wheels from this company a month ago. Have called multiple times only to be hung up on and the other times telling me they are on order from the manufacturer even though they were listed as “in stock” on their website. I understand times are tough but this is ridiculous. I get no communication and no answers anytime I call. I have no idea when I will receive my parts. I was told mid July 2 weeks ago but that has passed. I will never order from them again.
