Customer service team are useless and their ‘Second Opinion’ team aren’t much better.

Tried withdrawing my deposit after I changed my mind. Two months later they still won’t return it because I have no valid photo id. I’ve sent many other proof of identity.

The latest email states:
‘ Thank you for contacting us and I hope that my email finds you well.
Regarding your concern. if you don't have a phoyo ID, you could send us your passport or national ID or driver's license’

Translation: ‘sorry you don’t have photo id, if you could just send us photo id’. Absolute tosspots 😂

Like most online casinos, they can shut you down whenever they decide so it makes it impossible to win, and when you do they can refuse to pay you. Stay away from online casinos

Poor service, no response after 6 days. I’ve provided utility bills and ID, I deposited and then closed my account - they are refusing to pay out because my passport has just ran out of date . Nobody is responding, i’m trying to raise a complaint but they aren’t responding to that either

After signing up and depositing money to their sports site, they hit me with a weird verification request: a selfie with my ID, and threatened to withhold my funds until doing so.

If you value straightforward processes and good customer service, I'd think twice about using 888sport. I thought I could trust a big name. Clearly not!

Wish I’d read the reviews before depositing .. had a good win of a few hundred £ today around midday on slots but noticed after pressing ‘spin’ on the winning stake it said the next plays were on bonus. No worries I thought, this spin is cash. Checked after and it assigned the win to my bonus account not cash. Assumed I got it wrong but hey, got some credit to play with. . logged in 10hours later and no sign of the win.. spoke to customer service and they said the bonus expired ! .. call me synical but how convenient is that ! Hi, 888 is thieves company. They can close yours account with no reason and they take outstanding money and outstanding bets which are potential winners. In my situation they close my account and send the email about the outstanding money withdraw to my bank account but now are two weeks and no money returned.

my account has been locked for further verification since last christmas, i've since swiftly followed all the instructions stated on the email but nothing got done, i kept resubmitting and receiving the same email, so i simply asked them what was not good and i only got spammed with the same email, and this has been on repeat for the next coming 7 months since christmas til now, i went to the live chat explaining my situation, first agent was understanding of it, told me it'd be fixed within that day, however nothing happened, and then i got spammed again and the whole situation is on infinite loop

so to get out of this loop and get this going, i went to the live chat begging them to find me a way to bypass the email team as they're clearly not reading my emails evidently, it's been 7 months, i asked, i provided, i begged, i ranted, and they only ever replied with the same email, however, the agent simply repeated that i needed to contact their email team, so basically i'm stuck.
(note that it's painful how these agents reply once every 10 mins and reply to just one out of all things you say(

Avoid at all costs, 888 were very happy to take my son’s money but make it very difficult to withdraw. After sending all documents still find errors holding his money for over 3 weeks up-to now. At one point he found it so stressful as he has ADHD and very inpatient gambled his £200 winnings he was waiting to withdraw. Will be looking into the complaints procedures as this is unacceptable and they need reviewing from gambling commission. I can see it’s not just one off incident, so will be looking into how many customers and how much winnings this company has with held and they need to compensate with interest also. If people do not receive their winnings this actually constitutes as theft.

Depositing and losing is easy with sport 888 but as soon as you have a win your account get restricted and can’t sign in. Be warned, they make it very, very difficult for you to get your funds back. To start with it comes up with an error when you try and enter back details, but it’s not an error, it’s a block to stop you. You then have to provide your passport, bank statements, utility bills and other forms of ID before they put you into a queue to process…I’m now at 9 weeks and still no reply and no money back, despite using a complaint resolution company. Now waiting for gambling commissioner to review handling. Use another well know gambling company, not 888 as it’s not worth the hassle. No checks made whatsoever when you’re giving them money…handy for them perhaps.

Signed up to bet on the champions league finals as they had a 10 pound money back bet builder promotion going. I signed up fine, deposited and bet. Lost the bet. I've now just been informed on live chat that I'm not eligible for ANY promotions and my account is being restricted! The operator very, very quickly closed the chat after she copied and pasted this drivel. I had already opted into the promotion - honour your contracts! I've basically just been scammed.
