I sold this company my car which had completely broken down through a scrap comparison website. I'd had 2 mechanics come out to look at my car who were unable to advise what the issue was and said it'd need to go to a Peugeot specialist. When the company came to collect my car they miraculously determined what was wrong with it within 5 minutes which was extremely severe so they'd have to reduce the price they could offer me by nearly half. I think they definitely took advantage of the fact I was unable to move the car so didn't have many options. The driver was also over 2 hours late to collect the car. When I asked the driver about this he said he'd told his boss there was no way he'd be able to get to my address by 9:30 so again I had been lied to by the company about this. Not trustworthy at all, would definitely avoid.

Nothing leaves a worse taste than feeling played. I was clear from the start that my vehicle had a major electrical fault (which was why we were not trying to repair it ourselves). This company told me that there would be no last-minute attempt to drop their quoted price unless the vehicle had been significantly misdescribed by us. The next day they took it, loaded it onto their van and called me to say they were dropping the price by £800 because it had a major electrical fault - something I had clearly declared at the outset.

Typical nissan 1.2 engine, piston ring decided to leave the group chat. New engine required, didn't have the time or the effort to fit. Found A2B through scrap car comparison site. Organised collection after giving them an accurate description of the condition of the vehicle.
Dom the driver is the most friendly and cooperative person ever, very open, very transparent, very patient. Took a video of the car, sent it to his boss, 10 minutes later, phone call from Kirk, agreed on a price, no haggling, no nonsense, price quoted was price agreed, literally hung up the phone, logged into my online banking and boom, money already there. 2 minutes later, Dom is back, log book sorted, receipt sorted, car being recovered off the drive.

Absolute pleasure to deal with making a very difficult situation of the car breaking a pleasurable experience all things considered.

Hopefully I won't be in this position again where a car breaks catastrophically, but if I am, these are the guys I'll be calling. Can't recommend them enough.

Following a stressful experience of my car breaking down and being quoted a huge sum to fix it it was a relief to have A2B take it off out hands, they were quick and efficient with very little inconvenience to ourselves. They took some money off due to damaged bodywork, which I feel was fair as it was significant damage and we still got a good price for the car.

Found this company through scrapcarcomparison. Informed them the car was showing a hybrid system error, but was offered £850. Confirmed if the price was correct given the fault, and was told it was. Queried if the price was subject to amendment on collection but was told no, it was a ‘guaranteed’ quote.
At collection I received a call from A2B saying they couldn’t offer the price quoted as the car had a hybrid error, something that was declared from the outset to scrapcarcomparison & A2B. The best offer they could give was £200, less than a quarter of the original ‘guaranteed’ quote. Feeling conned.

Collection went as smooth as a babies but .

Really easy to deal with, clear questions and the pick up process was made very easy. I have gave a very clear explanation and description of the car and they quoted me a price, when they came to pick it up there was no haggling or trying to get a lower price, they simply put the money into the bank and loaded the car up.

Dealt with swiftly. Kirk went out of his way to make it all easy to understand to collect and remove the car. I would recommend the service .Rose

Timely collection of car and great communication from the team

Entered the process of selling my (almost dead) X5 as salvage rather sceptical - I needn’t have been. I received more money that I anticipated, the service was straightforward, money paid instantly. After in person inspection, the condition was worse that they expected, but after a 2 min conversation and common sense on both sides, a fair middle ground was made. A very positive experience.

Excellent service from all the team at A2B. Car picked up and paid without any hassle so close to Christmas.
