Matt did a efficient and excellent job in power flushing the radiators in my home with a minimum of fuss at a very reasonable cost. Have used Abbotts for plumbing and other issues previously and they're always reliable with excellent customer service. Would highly recommend.

Turned up on time. Knew what they were talking about. Didn't disappear for lunch or "to get a part". Worked till the job was done and came back immediately to fix a slight leak. Best tradesman I've ever used.

I have been let down by a few plumbers over recent years but am so happy that I found Abbotts Maitenance. They were prompt, friendly, very knowledgeable and fixed my leaky toilet that a previous plumber had "bodged" and said he couldn't repair with no issues.
I will absolutely be using this company again - THANK YOU!!

Matthew Abbott fitted my boiler and I was delighted with the quality of work and professional approach.

He was a godsend when a burst pipe to my outside tap during winter cold snap threatened to flood my kitchen, fitting me in at very short notice.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him for both installation and maintenance.

If I could give a zero I would. When I first contacted Abbots Maintenance I thought them to be very efficient and I had an appointment for the day after. When Peter arrived I explained that my Megaflo was leaking via the outside venting pipe when the hot water is heating up. I told him that I had tried recharging the air gap but that hadn’t worked.
When we looked at the tank he incorrectly identified the valve to be used to recharge the air pressure. He then proceeded to tell me that the valve would need replacing because the cold water inlet shut off was seized. He then said that the TPR valve was leaking and would need replacing. Then came the news that the tank had been installed incorrectly and would need the pipe work re worked. Peter was here for 35 minutes and did no work but I was still charged £126 for the pleasure of his company.
A few days later I received a quote for £886 + vat for the work.
The cold water shut off was not seized just stiff. The TPR valve did need replacing and is a £61 part and the tank was plumbed in 14 years ago and works.
Absolutely shocking behaviour and is why people are so sceptical about tradesmen. I won’t be using or recommending and really should not have been charged as a quotation for work should be free of charge.

I can’t recommend Abbots Maintenance enough, they are fantastic. My mum had no hot water in her house and Matthew came over and fixed it for her in no time at all. He said it had been such a simple job that he didn’t even charge her! The customer service with these guys is fantastic. They are polite and efficient over the phone and in person. It was a painless experience and I would highly recommend them and definitely use them again.

Routine boiler service done well as usual, helped identify problem so that manufacturer could fix under warranty. Reliable local trader.

Had problem with my boiler ...ask two Plummer to fix it ...they couldn't .... Matt came in and fixed the problem with in 1/2 hr ....fast & efficient & affordable ....highly recommended to anyone 👍
