Ludicrous over packaging

Today I collected a prescription from the pharmacist and was shocked at the packaging by the drug manufacturer Accord Healthcare. 30 pills containing approx 1mg of active ingredient each come in a box measuring 150 x 95 x 55 mm. That is a big box for one month's supply of pills.

Ludicrous packaging like this occupies way too much space, just how big do these people think the average person's medicine cabinet is ?

The problem for the pharmacist is even worse.
