Faultless!

Absolutely faultless! I've left it 6 months to write a review, just to see if the alloys can carry the load and if the tires are decent. They've both exceeded my expectations! Got a slight discount for weighing my old alloys in and they instantly knocked it off the price of my new alloys with standard tires. Yes, could have got a bit extra if id dealt with tire kickers, but zero interest in messing around.
Alloys are flawless. I went for the standard tires ( which I thought id regret) yet they're still going strong over 2000 miles in.
Made a massive improvement to my van and they look bang on as well.
Cannot fault Ace alloys one iota. Rapid turnaround and a genuinely decent lad.
Shukriya!

Quick review and experience of Ace Alloys Haslingden

I have visited Ace alloys a few times now, with various family cars.
I have found the staff friendly and courteous at all times, I have had a set of Audi Allroad wheels refurbished very well, and ask new tyres fitted to a number of cars. They have a range of tyres form budget to major brands.

The owner will go the extra mile for you especially when unexpected issues arise. Highly recommended!

Worst experience ever, owner is threatening if your female.

I took my car here on recommendation from two other people and after reading the reviews thought it was the best place to go. Already gotten a few quotes and these were the most expensive but I was assured that they do the job properly. Sadly for me, it turned out not to be the case as when I collected the car I noticed bubbling around the rim of one of the wheels that had barely any damage on it. The worst of the damage was on the front driver alloy so I couldn’t understand why the rear had bubbling like that, then on closer inspection by multiple people we could see that they were indents in the paint which were not there before so we’re not a defect of the alloy. When I drove it back down for them to see they told me that the paint hadn’t taken to that area possibly due to dust or grease (neither which are my fault) so I left the car and was without it again whilst they redone the work. After a few days, I was called back down, but the marks were still there so I rejected it again, this happened about three times in total. On the last time they said they would change the paint supplier as they think it was a faulty batch, but I was told while standing there by Cris “ you’re lucky you brought it to us anyone else would’ve told you too F*** off by now” charming considering my job as a customer is just to drop the car off and collect it, especially when you’re paying £408 for the work. I collected the car about a week ago now and was offered £100 refund for the “inconvenience” however I see why now as I’ve been left with one alloy having sanding marks on it. That’s the standard of work you can expect and these are just black gloss alloys not even diamond cut so I can’t imagine why they found it so hard.
Just goes to show just because they have some good reviews it means nothing and I doubt I would’ve been spoken to like that if I was a man!! Absolutely gutted at the state of my wheel!
