I am happy to provide a very positive reference for Widdowsons Ltd, makers of Acrylic Display Cases. I am located in the United States, and for a long time I have been searching on-line (and by other means) for a suitable display case for a Ferrari Formula 1 racing car model that I purchased in Italy. The model came with an attached, sloping base. Thus, I needed the right size of case to exactly accommodate the base. I could not find such a case anywhere in the US. Finally, I found Widdowsons web-site and its option of ordering a custom-sized display case. I typed in the dimensions of the base, chose the other options and ordered. In a short time the finished case arrived. It was very well packaged - this is important when shipping transatlantic because parcels take a real beating. The case arrived in perfect condition and was very well made. I am delighted with it, and it fits the base of the model car perfectly. An outstanding effort! Highly recommended!

I bought the double football boot display case for a rare Victorian portable typewriter.
The quality and design are excellent and the modern look is a great contrast to
the old machine. I will certainly be buying more of the cases as my collection grows.
The delivery was quicker than stated on the website, and the case was very well packed in a large box. Highly recommended.

not easy to find custom made display cases. These are the 'dogs do dahs'

I ordered 2 display cases last week . They arrived when they should [Tuesday this week] . One of the cases had probably fallen of the lorry because there was a 3 inch crack in the base and one of the hinges had broken off.
I did try and order the cabinet on the previous Monday on the phone with a view to collect as I was going down the A12 but no one answered the phone all day.

Built a model steam locomotive, wanted to display it in my hall and to protect it from sticky fingers and dust. Looked on line, found the acrylic display cases, worked out my dimensions, placed my order, paid my money and waited.
It arrived, delivered on time, well packed and undamaged.
A superb display case , a quality product supplied by a company providing quality service.

Only problem I had was there was a delay to my display case being made. This didn't bother me but I emailed for an update of when roughly I could expect my display case to arrive but got no response.

Could quite easily email a person to give rough idea of when their items will arrive

I aked for a quote a year ago for a custom sized case. At the time I was not able to take up the quote. About a year later I then requested an updated quote, assuming costs had changed. The reply was a frosty " I told you how much last year".
This sort of attitude is unhelpful makes customers go to competitors !

I Googled a search for an acrylic box and came across the website, placed an order and paid and got the box delivered, as easy as that! It was well packaged so arrived nice and safely. Easy to buy, easy to understand, they keep their promise on delivery however if you are living in the Scottish Highlands BEWARE there are hidden additional delivery charges applied to total costs.

I needed two display cases for model locomotives to give as presents. The made-to-measure ordering over the web was really easy to use (both in respect of dimansions for the case and the type of base) and the dispatch information was very helpful.
