Discount too good to be true?.. YES!

When I found a discount on a hockey stick from £210 to £80 i thought "my god, you're pulling my leg!", however it was too good to be true. I received a text confirmation of my order and two days later alas! There was an email in my inbox explaining that my order had been cancelled. I was disappointed to find however that there was no reason for this mysterious cancellation, and furthermore the refund did not appear in my bank account. "Hmmm" I thought as I reread the email littered with typos, "this company must really love their customers if they have two customer support email addresses!", however my response to both of these emails was a disappointing reply from 'JDPLC' explaining that the emails did not exist. I should have known better than to use a company with no telephone for the customer support and an inability to spell Active. In fact I found my experience rather inactive :(

Brilliant online retailer

I read these reviews AFTER I placed my order and I made me very worried. It was my first order and I had never heard of the company before. I must say my own experience has been better than any online order I have placed on any website. They had the best and discounted price for what I was looking for. I placed the order. I had the item delivered within 2.5 days and that Included overseas shipment from UK to Ireland. Couldnt believe how they delivered it so quickly. It's a pity that their customer support seems to be lacking going by all the negative reviews, but i reckon if they sorted that out they'd be an incredibly great company. I have zero complaints at all. Highly recommend. Tks

Don’t bother

Don’t bother. Ordered and paid for a tennis racket which was a good price, ready for Xmas present for my daughter. They cancelled it and raised the price by £50!! Steer clear, terrible customer service.

Don't trust a company which uses…

Don't trust a company which uses Twitter as it's primary contact method. This is because they don't want or can't communicate with the public. Bought 2 pairs of socks from them. Hermes (delivery partner) lied about the delivery. Ordered for delivery at work, Hermes driver claimed to have "left in reception" which is impossible: we work for MOD absolutely no vehicle gets on site without clearance. Who provides clearance? Me. So Hermes dropped the ball on that one. The administration involved in getting a refund of Activinstintinct, sorry, JD Sports is ridiculous & designed to prevent you from persuing it. DONT BE FOOLED! Bug them with emails call them on 01706626410 fill in the lost parcel declaration & return it RECORDED. Don't give this shower of s*** any excuse to scam you. Rant ends.

Quite surprised at the reviews

I was very apprehensive in ordering from them given their suspiciously low prices on the exact items I wanted, but I looked around at the scale of their website and the range of items they are selling + their owner so I decided to bite the bullet and hope I don't get sent some fakes.

I paid for international delivery and got my order on the 7th business day after the purchase, which was within the 4-10 days the company gave.

The box was way more damaged than what I would consider acceptable, but that has more to do with the transeuropean journey it took and the shipping company themselves, if I got this as a gift I'd be very dissappointed, the product itself was in good shape.

At the end of the day, I got my product delivered on time and at the best price I could find online (believe me I looked around).

The reviews are overwhelmingly negative so perhaps I am in the minority, either way I wanted to write this review to let others know that this isn't just a straight up scam and you can get the products you want at great prices.

Bought a pair of boots for next day…

Bought a pair of boots for next day delivery. Got an email saying my order was out for delivery. Waited the entire next day, on my day off, and no arrival. I emailed them and they said that my order wasn't actually out for delivery and my details didn't pass security (didn't bother to tell me until I questioned why my order hadn't arrived and were still happy to take the money out of my account!). The following day I got my order and a refund for delivery. Was tempted to give 1 star but they did respond quite fast to emails and I got a refund on delivery.

Fraudulent company - for Took my money and refused to send out

Took my money and refused to send out my goods. When I complained was told my money was being held by he bank. I contacted the bank and they said it had been released and accepted 5 days prior. Contacted Activinstinct again and they continued to refuse to deliver my order or refund. I’ve had to raise a claim with my credit card company to get my money back. Avoid at all costs.

AVOID AT ALL COST

This has got to be the worse company in the world. Placed my order nd paid for next day delivery only to find my order is still in their warehouse. Can only contact them via twitter where you wait for 40 minutes to get a reply or send them an email that they don’t reply to. The customer service is non existent, useless, lazy and very unhelpful. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY JUST FOB YOU OFF and leave you very frustrated. They are about as helpful as my mother in law.

Do NOT order from this company!

Absolutely terrible service and, as many are saying on here, they don't even deserve the one star! Oh how I wish that I had seen these reviews before placing my order!

Long story short, I have been charged for my order and next day delivery when it never even left the warehouse. Further still, I am being told that the items didn't leave the warehouse as they became out of stock just after I ordered them (all items apparently, what a coincidence...). I only found this out after I contacted the company- I received no email updates for my order or an contact initiated by them. Still awaiting a refund...

Would give 0 stars if I could

Would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered a bra, received a puffer jacket. Advised store who refuses to send a courier to pick it up or refund my money even though it is their error. Expect me to use my time posting it back to them and wouldn't refund me or post the actual item I ordered until they receive the jacket back. Absolutely horrific customer service, wouldn't use them again. How do you mistake a jacket for a bra?!!!

Avoid

Excellent Service

Excellent service, bought an Orca wetsuit and was in two minds after reading reviews. No problems at all, ordered next day delivery for £5.99 and it never arrived and actually came the following day but was re-funded the full £5.99 and no delivery charge paid. No complaints at all.

A waste of time

As I have already read- a frustrating waste of time. Shoes not dispatched and days before I got an answer- ( I don't think the shoes in my size existed!.) No customer service phone line so lots of time wasted on email. The refund was prompt

Don't bother ordering from this company…

Don't bother ordering from this company ...

Ordered a pair of sandals to then find they don't deliver to my home address.

Then ordered the same pair of sandals to be sent to a relative who would then send on to me. Paid extra for next day delivery as I needed the shoes for a trip.

The shoes are not here over a week later and customer service seem to have no idea what's going on.

Email response is slow and when you do receive a response your questions are not properly answered. No phone number to speak to anyone in person.

Extremely disappointing and now I don't have the shoes I needed to take away for my trip.

Ordered another product from Gap Travel Store and their team couldn't have been more helpful when my order went wrong. If you're looking for outdoor gear, suggest heading there instead.

Out of stock...

Ordered 4 items, got a delivery for two of the items. The paperwork that arrived with the items that actually were delivered, stated that the other items were now out of stock (after ordering them fine, and getting NO notifications that this was the case until my part delivery). If I had been notified I could have selected an alternative. Why send me half of the stuff I ordered. What good are running socks and top without shoes and shorts???

Also after I found this to be the case, I could still go on the website and order the same pair of shoes in the same size that they told me was out of stock, so there could have well been more people than myself conned.
