Terrible quality product, broke in less than 2 years and company refused to fix, poor customer service

I was sent the wrong size of an item but on contacting Addis they did everything they could to resolve the problem quickly and efficiently

Via Amazon purchased an Addis rotary clothes airer. As the airer had a significant span compared to previous I decided to raise the airer arms prior to actual installation to check it didn't obstruct a pathway. Couldn't open out the arms and reckoned this was due to a protruding rivet on the section riveted to the main central tube. Didn't want to use force for fear of damage. One of the rivets clearly protruded more than the rest.
Reported the problem to Addis via the communication link provided. They asked for photographs which I sent and asked for a full refund including postage costs.
They sent a returns label, postage excluded and paperwork stated they did not pay postage for return of goods. Raised issue with Amazon whom my contract was with and after a lengthy 1 1/2 hour call their supervisor recommended:
- I use the label provided and return airer
- Pay for postage and retain copy of receipt
- On receipt of airer at Addis a full refund including postage would be provided
Returned airer and did receive refund of airer cost but not the postage. Also no comment from Addis regarding my perception of the fault absolutely nothing.
I don't believe I should pay postage for faulty goods and will now pursue this further with Amazon.
Would not want to deal with Addis again

Absoultey brilliant.

Swift and easy ordering service with good communication. The plastic 2litre jugs are ok, however they are unstable to handle when used to make porridge or a hot sauce. I don’t know if it’s just the heat that softens the plastic or the microwave causes the jug to loose structural integrity but I have to use both hands when removing it from the microwave to avoid spills and potentially burns.

Item was easily located on website and ordering easy and fuss-free and delivery prompt.

I’ve just had an email from Addis refusing my request for a refund for a Flexi Laundry Basket the handles of which snapped after less than a fortnight. Despite providing a photo of the price label (including the retailer’s logo) and the corresponding debit on my bank statement they maintain this isn’t proof of purchase. Unfortunately I didn’t get a receipt. Last time I buy Addis.

Well worth buying direct at a great price and a household name with fast deilvery

Ordered 8.5l soft touch bowl. This bowl is the best fit for our sink, and is very robust and durable. It hasn't stained and is easy to keep clean. The order was processed swiftly and the bowl delivered within the suggested time frame. Would order again from this company.

Product is excellent, but their customer services are awful, asked for help understanding how to operate their product safely, and also told them their instructions were lacking certain info, and I receive an email back asking to send proof of purchase before they can go any further! Just why??

My Wife and I received an Addis gift set as a Wedding Present in 1966. The Broom, Linen Basket and bowl are still in use. Regrettably the brush and dustpan lasted only 59 years!!!!!!! . Great products and so good to see a Company continue to trade for so many years. Speaks volumes for their products

Had one of their clothes airers for just over 2, rubbish product, very flimsy tubing, it finally snapped last week. I never overloaded this product due to its flimsy appearance, I’d happily have paid more for a more robust product. Addis won’t be getting any of my money.

A pleasure to purchase from Addis an easy decision and to make as I needed to make sure I purchased the correct size. I was kept updated on the delivery so overall Addis did a great job for me. Highly recommend.

I contacted Addis on the off chance because the caps for my under sink storage unit had come off. I sent a parts request on Sunday evening and by Monday morning the parts had been sent at no cost. Amazing customer service.

Quick delivery and very good product

I ordered a washing up bowl and a Jumbo dish brush. The bowl was not the size I required and it was scuffed and dirty inside and the Jumbo brush was not a Jumbo and was smaller than the one I was using. Needless to say I had to return them both and Paid for the postage despite the damage / dirty bowl costing as much as the items very difficult to speak to anyone on the phone- apparently telephone issues !

I couldn't find what I wanted in any shops, and thought I would look on Addis website (not realizing that you could actually buy from the website), I found both items I needed - thanks! Delivery was quick.
