Computerguy's number one goto tool!

I have been the local computer repair guy in my neibourhood for many years in my spare time.
I have run RogueKiller on very very many machines, all with different configuration, software and hardware...
RogueKiller is one my goto tools no matter what is wrong with the computer. Not once did it screw up! :)
The program gets my full support! :)

Was great at old versions

Was great at old versions, now its full on malware ;)

edit: more explanation for why i rated this so low.. here we go:: when rogue killer was new, it was a one-all solution for the incredibly problematic rootkits and all sort of viruses around. While i assume the core engine remained the same, the program's interface looks as if CC cleaner and there are ads for new deals every five minute, it starts with pc automatically and its difficult to close, i just have a bad impression of this program/company now overall... there are simply, better customer service. Usually companies delete these sort of reviews from their own websites/forums, so thank you for the opportunity

edit2: it appears the annoying deals with 50 percent off and alike, sprouting from the desktop are gone in the newest version. It was a version from a few months ago, since i use firewall or clean the pc every few months, i don't update much. I deleted the old one, and installed the new one now. I'll let you know if i see any, but its completely absurd that it was another program causing this, aka advertising in the name of rogue killer. there is no such thing ;)

Reply from Adlice Software

Hi, thanks for your review.
Could you clarify what you mean by "full on malware" ? We target all kind of malware, from potentially unwanted, riskware, to trojans and rootkits. We also have dynamic protection against ransomware and password stealers. Thanks,

EDIT: Thanks for more explanation. To summarize, the market has evolved. There's no rootkits anymore, no annoying viruses anymore, these are things from the past. Now malware businesses are mostly focused on ransomware, on information stealing, and we had to adapt too. As for the interface, I'm not sure I understand what you mean. There's no "new deals" every 5mns, you shouldn't receive any repeating ads through the software unless there's a problem on your machine. Please contact us here: adlice.com/contact to get this sorted out.

EDIT2: Thanks for raising the note. I didn't say it was another software, I meant it shouldn't be "every 5mns". Of course we advertise for the premium version, because it's how the company can continue to work, but we always try to keep a good user experience, even with the free version.
