Firstly, on a personal level just to describe for anyone attempting to source someone with the Intellect, the skills and most importantly during times like this when a ‘Brown’ envelope lands and suddenly you feel like all’s crashing in around you, there’s Dom... from the very first phone call after contemplating who to call for help with this sudden HMRC compliance check, I realised immediately upon speaking with Gentleman and indeed he certainly is. I knew that I could trust Dom to help me He immediately put me at ease and listened without predudice. With a calm intelligent manner, he assured me that he will get me through this. I contacted Admiral when confronted with the threat of an HMRC bankruptcy . I had tried to deal with the issue myself but HMRC were not prepared to listen or negotiate. When HMRC decided to claim further monies from my elderly mother i was looking for help and discovered Dominic. He really knows his subject and we would not have achieved such a good result without his help and guidance. Admiral Tax represented me throughout a recent tax investigation. I was so frightened and worried when I received the letter and thought that I may have ended up owing HMRC thousands of pounds of income tax on rental income and capital gains tax from the disposal of a property. I was distraught and to be honest terrified when I received a tax investigation letter from HMRC pursuing me for tax on an undisclosed chargeable gain. I had been given some terrible advice by my previous accountant; which resulted in me filing a false tax return. Thankfully I found Admiral Tax from searching Google. They really calmed me down; when it would have been tempting to prey on my fear and scare monger. Dominic was first class from start to finish. He was calm, patient and considered; despite my overwhelming panic and anxiety. I would have been lost without his counsel, support and most of all his ability to negotiate with HMRC. As a result the whole matter was cleared up within 6 weeks. He even managed to get the penalty postponed; which astonished me. Highly recommended.

Discovered Dominic of Admiral Tax by pure chance ,after an expensive adviser taking me up the garden path with inflating my "sins" in not
notifying a sale of overseas family property .
Dominic has the ability of simplifying the jargon & focussing on the core points in discussing with the HMRC.
As I joked with him ,he may not like the details of the schedules or calculations but his strength is in the larger picture (& talking)
The garden path of previous adviser was the COP9 procedure & initiating fear of the unknown & adding on charges .
Choosing the right adviser is a major decision .
At the same time the client needs to do his homework as well.
Overall ,I am happy with the conclusion after a long year & half !!
