Installation team was marvellous.

I bought a 20 kWh Anker Solix X1 battery through ADS, and the whole experience was excellent. The Adelaide sales rep offered a great price and a mid‑January install date that sounded almost too good to be true — yet ADS delivered exactly as promised.

The installation team of four were professional, efficient, and clearly skilled. I’d been worried about messy conduit or shortcuts, but the workmanship was neat and high‑quality throughout.

ADS followed up after the install, reminded me of the warranties, and assured me that if anything comes up, Paul will handle it straight away. That level of care is rare.

The Anker Solix X1 is a fantastic battery — compact, smart, and powerful. After a lot of research, I’m very pleased I chose ADS. A company that actually does what it says. Highly recommended.

Well I was pushed and pushed with high pressure sales at least 30 phone calls until I agreed they promised me a great deal with good quality equipment and installation team well the promises was just that and never followed through I was promised black out protection and never received and when asked about it they had no recollection of it the installation team said it there we will be back to install it but that never happened aswell and have been making excuses ever since so people listen closely do not trust these people because there word and service is worth nothing I’m taking this further I have approached the tv networks they are happy to run with as well as the energy ombudsman so watch out for the news items now I’m about to reach out to the financial institution and tell them what’s going on and I will refuse to pay until this mod has done something about there dishonest underhanded practices I hope you read this and take notice

ADS Solar were extremely pushy to get their sale. They called so many times after getting comparison quotes from them. I did go with them to replace an old systen, install 28 new solar panels, a new inverter and battery. The install August 2024 went well- though we didnt realise they would leave the garage full of boxes. Then the issues started July 2025. It showed off-grid mode on the app and we were importing elecricity from the grid. I called soo many times, sent emails, images of errors, photis of the system, but they insisted each time that the system was fine from their end. The phone was always answered by someone that didn't say the company name and could not help. They gas lit me for a full month as I grew more and more concermed and our electricity bill went from nothing to $300. I was passed onto Faiz, who pointlessly rebooted firmware many times but they refused to come look at the system. Then they had the audacity to start market calling again to sell more battery storage. I nearly lost my mind.
When at my absolute insistence and sent a video showing I could not turn off the isolater swirch, they finally sent their installer out to our house in September. The switch was melted. Could my house have burnt? Was it dangerous? They refused to acknowledge a broken system and all requests for more than a month. They refused to reimburse the electricity bill I was slogged with while the system didn't work. I just got an email saying Faiz can you deal with this? I would NEVER recommend this company. The solar panels, sungrow inverter and batteries do work now that its been fixed by their sub-contractor- the only reason they got any stars. Beware of this company. After sales service is atrocious.

This company has no idea what they are doing or understand requirements for solar!
First told I can only have 440w panels not the 510w residential as I want. I am putting a 10 kw Sigenergy system with 24 kw batteries and they say I can only put 13.3kw panels on my roof, even if the inverter can go to 200% meaning 20kw panels on my roof. I confirmed with SolarVictoria and that is fine and do get my rebates but sales person stated I will not! He confirmed with someone else in the company and same thing… I have quotes already for the system and with rebates on the quote with no arguments.

Email sent containing signed quote had requirements to have back up and charge during black out. Not installed correctly refuse to negotiate. ACCC and Fair Trading here we come. I would not recommend them!

Company excels at pre sales. Once you have paid however, they don’t want to help fix their errors.

We are over $600 out of pocket due to installation that failed to connect our hot water controller load as planned during sales process.

Their shade app failed to detect our roof being in shade mid afternoon. When I raised this with them, as I stood looking at the roof in full shade, I was told “no you are wrong, the app shows the house in full sunshine….”

We have been bouncing emails, phone calls and promises to fix these issues for 10 months. Now off to fair trade as
ADS Solar have failed to rectify their install errors. We tried our best to get this fixed but they just don’t went to step up and fix their errors.

I tried to offer to pay for more panels to fix the shade and they agreed to change the panel configuration but this never eventuated. The control load change seems beyond them.

I am extremely pleased with the battery system that was installed in my house. It is working flawlessly, and I have not received any electricity bills since its installation. I am truly grateful for the excellent service. Many thanks!

Ads Solar provided outstanding and highly valuable assistance throughout the entire process. From beginning to end, their team, led by Rohan, was exceptionally helpful and made everything incredibly convenient. While they weren't the priciest option available, they also weren't the cheapest. However, the value they delivered was truly exceptional. Furthermore, the delivery driver was extremely friendly and helpful, while their installers demonstrated remarkable skill and expertise. I will not hesitate to recommend Ads Solar to others, and I'll certainly reach out to them when I decide to install batteries.
