Used for 1 day, tried to log in again a couple days later and couldn't, contacted support.
Was told I'd been reported for "abuse", had engaged in "inappropriate" behavior which violated the Terms of Use, and had been permanently banned... when all I did was talk to a few people and use the sites other built in features?

Even set up ID verification and was already thinking about purchasing membership eventually. Good thing I didn't I would have been out the money! Carefully read through ToU again and didn't see anything I "violated" asked support what I had done that supposedly violated ToU and conveniently got no response to the question, was just told account would stay banned. Best guess is either a completely random ban, or someone made up a bs report/claim because they felt entitled to my body/time and were offended that I didn't reply, meet up, or send pics whenever they wanted or wasn't online 24/7 to answer their every beck and call.

Would give 0/5 if I could. Don't bother wasting time on the site, and definitely DO NOT BUY MEMBERSHIP!

Fraud. They started taking money for web sessions even when I was not online. Had to deal with it through my bank. No customer service what so ever; even when you need to recover your accound - they simply keep the money and stop responding. Have had to hire a privte detective / specialist to find the responsible person. The address shown on the web-site is fake.

This site is full of fake profiles, prostitutes, and scammers. 1% of the profiles I have interacted with are real people. When you flag an account, it does not get taken down and needs to get flagged multiple times.

I have experienced attempts at follow-home robberies, extortion, catfishing, and other dangerous crimes.

When I file reports to AFF, nothing gets done and their support actually mocked me. Needless to say, I filed a fraud claim with my bank and got a refund. AFF is turning into the next Backpages and will likely have an open FBI investigation soon. I'm surprised there haven't been more documented violent crimes from this site.

Sorry guys, no I do not know of a better place. Seems all the dating apps are filled with this now.

There are major bugs like being charged twice for a subscription, lack of feedback when you contact customer support (you don’t even know if your message was delivered), and you are asked to reset the password at every single login attempt. One login, one password reset in what I call an asinine user experience.
It’s full of fake profiles that are scammers, nothing useful for dating or hooking up.

Signed up for a month out of interest and as soon as the money was taken they suspended my account and told me I needed to contact their 'risk' team or provide all of my card details and ID info - Extremely unhelpful customer service.

Don’t waste your money folks. Subscribed to this out of curiosity and unsubscribed the same day and cancelled my subscription. Enough said.

Scam. I clicked on my email and accidentaly clicked a button right away. This automatically ordered a plan that I didnt intend to. They will not let me remove information regarding my card, wont let me cancel immediately (I didnt use services). Not letting me remove card information has got to be illegal. From my previous experience with the site most people are fake anyway so I didnt want to pay again.

When I first got on AFF 10 yrs ago, it was great site for me. I'd meet 3 of 5 women I replied. But now, its more like E-Harmony, women (tho married) say looking for relationship to go out to restaurants, museums, travel, etc. If they are married, how can they possible do that ? Good number of pics on profiles are fake, one profile said she was 50, but pic was someone from early 30's. The aim for AFF is to target single men who the purchase a GOLD membership, but then yet you can't reach out to proifles that are satndard contacts. So, the goal is get 2 memberships. Save your money..

Wasted £50 on this site.
It's great if you want to watch explicit videos and pictures and have a lot of time to waste contacting non-existent people, but that is all it offers.
It used to be a good dating organisation before the days of the internet, but now it's just a big con.
Other reviews I've read praise AFF as the best there is out there. I just wonder if these reviewers are getting back-handers from the owners of this site.

Over 5 years of use. Thousands of women chatted with...Not one...Not one....in 5 years turned out to be real. Everyone...every single one deactivated their account within days. Every single one requested Gmail or phone numbers from me. This website is huge and has many real people...I think...But it cannot be explained away as simple coincidence. I would give it less than one star. I would.

They lose no opportunity to charge you, even if you it is something as simple as changing your screen name. Messages you send cannot be read by the recipient, unless they also pay. SCAM.

Just, don’t bother. Fake profiles and prostitutes.

Coming to the end of a months subscription to this site and can only say keep your money and keep well away from this desperate site.It is rammed full of Fake profiles,site generated site bots,Escorts,basic Scammers,Profiles from Ghana and Africa in general hiding behind fake accounts…….it has to be the most Fake adult site that there is out there………Keep well away !!!
