Avoid this dating site. From my brief experience each woman I contacted was a impersonator using phony photos and voice synthesizers, asking for donations to remedy their false sob story. When reported nothing was done to take down the scammers profile.

I give one star only because it doesn’t do negative numbers. 1 month subscription and talked with several “women”, they used the same lines that I got from scammers from Nigeria, Ghana and India. Lots of talk but can’t meet for various reasons. Some are posted as nearby cities but when talking to the individual, they claim to be in another state.
Save your money!

The worst dating website on the internet... very, very poor. On a scale from 1 to 10, I’d give Adult Friend Finder no more than 1, and that’s me being generous. NEVER AGAIN! Don’t waste your time and money on Adult Friend Finder, folks; it's an absolute con and has absolutely nothing going for it.

They seem to be controlled by a computer algorithm. you join and post and they claim many people are looking at your account. No, it isn't happening, I even had them claim I was being checked out by my own account. They are looking to upgrade you to spend more and there seems to never be anyone there that is real. If you want to try it get a very short term "Gold" account but be careful they will renew it at full cost if you don't keep an eye on it. Just a big scam!

I'm a research analyst and have been asked to evaluate several dating, hookup and international dating sites. I will share my unbiased view starting with AFF. I participated as a gold member for one month with AFF. I received 586 views, 45 my fans, 22 flirts and 11 emails. I used genuine pictures of myself. I have been inform that I am average to slightly above average in looks, have an athletic figure, average hight and weight is in line with my hight. Here are my findings and observations.

Out of my 586 views. 93.7% were more than 250 miles away from my viewable actual location. Out of the 93%, 63% were outside of the united states, that means of all views I had an opportunity position of 6% of those who viewed me.

Focusing on the 6% opportunity profiles that equates to 35 profiles that were claimed to have been within 100 miles of my location. For every view I received I viewed the corresponding profile which if they were a gold member or above, they would have been informed that I viewed them. Only 14% of those who viewed me had a paid membership of gold or higher. Of the 14% with a paid subscription, only 2% were verified as a legitimate person. This is voluntary on this site and I found the identification process based on this site slightly tilting to the honor system which the only tangible evidence is any form of state ID, Visa, drivers license etc.. All they required was for this is a picture of the ID.

Cutting to the findings. Even though my opportunity profile was 35 in total, I was selected as a fan by 45 profiles. Out of those 45 profiles I received 11 email respones. Out of the 11, 7 were fake profiles that were easy to determine just by using the very basic Google recognation tool. These were reported by me and AFF claimed to have deactivated 5 of them as of this review. 2 profiles I corresponded with were either using an image of someone other than themselves or heavily photoshopped thier image to improve thier body shape, look more youthful appearance or other vanity reasons. 2 were catfishes either directing me to WhatsApp or a Gmail account. Typically these are women with a social media following only looking for followers or a subscription to thier porn site.

In the end, I only received 1 somewhat offer to meet. This was from a female into dominatrics who was requesting that I be her subservient sex slave and be available on demand. She also required me to call her Godess and that I was only allowed to look her in the face when she allowed it. She wanted to train me in that life style with the understanding that I would be a subservient slave to her. This included, whipping, blindfolds, clamps on my genitals, bondage in various forms, rimming, rectum play and all manner of fulfilling her sexual desires without considering mine. These were her rules. On the day I was supposed to meet up with her, I informed her what I was doing of which she was very angry at first then she agreed to call me in which we talked for over an hour. Her honesty and insights confirmed my ultimate conclusions and we remain in contact as of this review as friends.

Conclusions - 98.3% of all profiles that had an engagement with me were either fake profiles, catfishes, some prostitutes, social media hustlers or just out right scams preying upon those with desperate needs for love, acceptance, sex or other personal needs. I was able to deduce that in a sampling average of 600 profiles, 73% were male, 4% alternative lifestyle and the remaing 22% claiming to be monogamous females. In my opportunity poll of 586 views, only 3 could be identified as legitimate. Of the 3 I was only able to get 1 invite.

In the end the male/ female ratio for confirmed legitimate profiles is that AFF is 89% male to 11% female. The chances of achieving a in person meeting for a verified male is 1.3%.

Total waste of time! Seriously, if you're after any sort of hook up, dating, chat, anything, don't buy into this.

Firstly, you try it to use it for free. Then magically you start to get messages of interest but you can't view them because you've got the free version. You then subscribe out of curiosity and then pow, they've got your money and you by the balls/ovaries. You never hear from these bot profiles again.

Secondly, you try to make connections, contacts etc. Virtually impossible because:
A. Most of the profiles are fake.
B. Women are flooded with messages from the disproportionate number of male users.
C. There are so few genuine users.
D. Real users don't really use this outdated site anymore.
E. There are so few users anywhere near where you live.
F. You struggle to even get a reply.
G. You then have actually got to be compatible.

Seriously, save your money. Just watch pornhub. Or use another dating site that actually has an app. Because even the mobile web version of this sucks.

This website is a complete scam. It's filled with fake profiles that use stolen pictures to make it seem like they have "the largest adult hookup site." Many of these profiles are run by scammers that may even be professional hackers located in a former Soviet territory. The very first night I signed up someone from this site attempted to BLACKMAIL me with fake dick pics as they would pretend that I was being a pervert to blast me on social media. That should've been an immediate red flag, but I thought I could still get my money's worth. Well I couldn't have been more wrong, as I would never get responses from anyone that wasn't simply a con artist. DO NOT waste your time and money here, this is the most BS dating site I've ever seen.

Wish I could give negative stars. First - in 2 years the only people I met on the site were pedophiles, stalkers, scammers and creeps.

According to aff they now charge PER message bc of bots ... Well, the site is already slammed with bots. Using a male login I received 11 bot messages for every 1 from a real person.

Compared to other (better) dating sites aff charges 2 to 3 times more. The cost is insane given the only thing you'll get from this site is Chlamydia.

I've tested almost every dating app on the web and aff is hands down beyond the worst.

It frauded my credit card without even accepting the final confirmation of payment. I thought it was a known site.

AFF is a definite hookup site. Any connection I've made was through a GOLD member. All others, beware. If you think you've made a connection on this site, don't let your emotions get swayed. I made many contacts that after giving an email to, don't follow through. One disappeared after "sending a message" only to reappear in another state with same user name, one went out of country and back. The messaging responses go OK, but depends. I haven't figured scam intent except I wasn't the "mark" they were looking for. If your there for looking and reading for fun, it got that. There might actually be some genuine women, but avoid no pic, non-gold member. Because i'm relatively new and bought 3 month GOLD sub, just be sure about who does respond. Listen, these people have some good story lines but BEWARE. They'll send pussy pictures and seems very real but read the language carefully. They're pretty good. Good luck!

Awful. First AFF robs you of high monthly fees, then 90% of the fake profiles who are actually criminals from 3rd world nations are trying to rob you. I paid for 1 month gold membership and accidentally approved "Standard contacts" which doubled my cost and ended at $60.00.
Complete waste of time and waste of money. AFF does nothing to verify or confirm the people who are using the website thereby making themselves responsible for the bad experience. The fake profiles are easy to spot but they outnumber the real profiles by 10:1.
Why is it as a American I'm hung out for the entire world to attempt to feed on me? AFF hates their legitimate customers and shows that hate by doing NOTHING to protect us. REPORTING does nothing. It is the VERIFICATION process that is a complete failure on the part of AFF. Zero verification = platform for criminals.

Paid for Gold subscription, but then the minute after I paid I couldn’t access my account anymore. I reached out to support for help and they said my account was automatically deactivated due to a “violation??” and told me they cannot refund my money, even though I never got to use the subscription. When you purchase Gold, it is a subscription so they will keep charging you over and over and you can’t do anything about it except cancel your card because you can’t even access your account to cancel your subscription. This site is a scam. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This site no longer allows users to even exchange messages unless they purchase a gold membership. Before letting users go they would offer a month of free gold. They no longer do that. How does a site expect to stay afloat if the users are not allowed to exchange messages when they always have before this.

I called customer service to ask about the new changes. The person swore me down that it has always been that way, so I brought it to his attention about several of my previous message exchanges where he could clearly see that there was a great exchange of messages before this ridiculous change was made.
