My AEG 60cm Steam Oven (Model…

My AEG 60cm Steam Oven (Model BSK774320M) continues to amaze me — and not in a good way.
After using completely normal amounts of olive oil while roasting (you know… like people do in kitchens), I started noticing the internal nuts and bolts looking worn and corroded. Apparently, this oven treats olive oil like it’s industrial acid.
What’s even better? Nowhere and I mean nowhere in the manual does it say, “Do not cook with olive oil.” Not in the warnings. Not in the maintenance section. Not buried in tiny print. If your oven can’t handle one of the most basic cooking ingredients on the planet, that feels like a detail worth mentioning.
I bought a steam oven to cook actual food, not to run a controlled lab experiment testing the durability of hardware against salad dressing.
For a premium-priced appliance, I expected durability. Instead, I’m left wondering if I need to switch to air and optimism as my main ingredients.
Very disappointing.

AEG delivery instructions are just show…

AEG delivery instructions are just show off. The website doesn’t updated on the delivery status, there is no installation included since the delivery is not their responsibility and customer support is almost non existent.
We got our machine 15 days after order and fortunately was all ok with the equipment.

It os behave like scam

It os behave like scam. I paid for coffee machine and the y sent only on third day and only when I remind them. Now the parcel already one week without any movement. And for question when the deadline the transfer question to transport company, but I paid not to the transport company

NEVER BUY FROM AEG PORTUGAL!!!

I wish i read the comments earlier - ZERO positive reviews. This company acts like scammers. They communicate well at first, but once they have your money they stop replying to emails, stop answer the phones. We bought a freezer with install services, freezer was very late getting delivered (weeks without a freezer) and then the installer never turned up, and now they keep the 185.00 euros for the installation cost. NEVER BUY FROM AEG PORTUGAL!!!

We ordered a new washer and dryer

We ordered a new washer and dryer, plus the part to stack them on 22/04/2025. Installation and delivery included in the order (we have proof). The carrier never contacted us, only sent an sms on 5/5/2025 stating they called us and got no answer. We are now 22/05/2025 and we still have not received a call nor a new delivery date. AEG customer service is very non-responsive and just tells us 'you have to wait for their phone call, we already requested a new delivery'. The tracking number they gave us is not even traceable, it is an internal number from the courier. When asking to cancel our order and get a refund, they send us a long email regarding their policy and a form we have to fill out and mail. Just guess how long this will take... Even asked if they can re-iterate the request: 'no, we did already'. Used to have AEG in Belgium with excellent service, however would not recommend again in Portugal.

Washing machine still hasn't arrived...

I ordered a washing machine as our machine broke 10 days ago. On the site it said delivery in the Lisbon area was 72h. Nothing happened. I finally got a sms to say delivery was on 9th and waited in all afternoon. I got a call at the end of the day to say that message was automatically generated and the real date for delivery is Thursday am. Again, waited in but no washing machine. I've called three times and get disconnected after 25 minutes. Nobody answers the chat messages or emails. I'm stuck as I can't order a new machine but this one is clearly not arriving soon. I am disgusted at the abysmal service I have received and wish I'd checked online reviews before ordering.

Openly Rude Customer Service

Absolutely atrocious customer service, not only unhelpful but openly rude.

After ordering a washer and dryer including installation, using Google Translate to understand the site, I received no contact on scheduled dates.

Meanwhile, I realised for column formation I needed an additional component that was not made clear on the site. I contacted them before any shipping details were confirmed asking to add this to the order. They refused as the parts come from two different warehouses.

I then asked when they would call me to schedule delivery. I received no reply.

The items were delivered without warning, and without installation. By chance, the plate to stack them in column formation arrived the same day.

I contacted customer support AGAIN to ask why the installation wasn't included. Their response "Can you prove it?" Their site did not retain my order for FREE installation, so they demanded I prove what I clicked on their form.

Their final assertion is there is no evidence, so it is not their problem.

The open dismissal and hostility of their customer service beggars belief and I deeply regret paying so much to them.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH AEG

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH AEG! I bought a brand new fitted washing machine from them with included service for the installation and the removal of the old machine. The delivery man came, dropped the machine and left! No installation no removal of old machine. I am trying to contact customer support to sort this out with no success! NEVER AGAIN AEG! There are so many more brands of appliances that are much more reliable and professional… No worth the risk to go with AEG.
