Absolutely the worse flight experience
Absolutely the worse flight experience.
Nobody said before flight the check-in at the airport costs EUR35 per person.
This is outrageous.
When embarking at Lamezia Terme with about 38°C of outside temperature, the plane status in the airport for about half hour with shut off engines and no air conditioning. Some passengers started to feel dizzy and dehydrated. No water was served, nor the engines were turned on after complains from the passengers.
The plane took off late and landed late.
Avoid this airline if you can, they don't deserve your money.
Amended the flight time…
Amended the flight time to an earlier time resulting in me not being able to make it as my connecting flight would not have arrived. Apparently, they can amend flights within 2 hours and this is in the agreed terms and conditions. Ok, I can accept this, reluctantly, it probably was in the small print. However, to amend the flight to the next one costs more than what I paid originally when they quoted 50 Euros per person. Total scam
Terrible, horrible services…
This has been by far the worse experience I have ever had with an airplane company. They have left my baggage in Catania on 22nd of July instead of delivering it in Rome and they do absolutely nothing about it. Call center does not respond. They make us wait on line like 45 minutes and then drop to call with a bot saying they cannot answer. Fuimicino lost/found office is as useless as them. All they do is to say we should wait while I need to have another flight in 4 days!!!!
What in the world is this??? I know where my luggage is they still say we have to wait. Appalled, absolutely horrible company. Do not use them if you dont want to beg for your own stuff!!!! They do not help for anything at all

Decent experience.
It's not my best experience with a flight company, but it was decent. The plane was clean. My flight was delayed 2,5h. I have payed the bus ticket to the airport more than the flight, so I can.t complain.

Terrible airline. Avoid at all costs.
My wife & I had a Palermo-to-Rome flight booked, and when the flight was less than 24 hours out, we attempted to check in using AeroItalia’s phone app and their web page. Neither would allow us to check in. We attempted many times all the way up to 2 hours before the flight with no success. We kept getting an error. Consequently, we were forced to check in at the check-in counter. The AeroItalia employee at the check-in counter insisted that we pay 70 Euros to check in. When we explained that we attempted many times to check in via phone and web page, but were not allowed to, she had zero sympathy and insisted on the 70 Euro payment. Clearly, this company is unscrupulous and is scamming their customers. There was another couple that we met in the line who had the exact same poor experience.
So again, avoid AeroItalia at all costs. Fly ITA Airways instead. Even if you have to pay a little bit more. My experience with them was flawless.

Call center is absolute disaster
Call center is absolute disaster. Definitely in need of training how to handle situations, arguing with customers instead of explaining it is not solving problems. I spoke to Emma who not only argued with me all the time but also made a change in the system which made our departure difficult.
Very professional call center
I have just booked the ticket for me and my pet with the call center. The operator, Matteo, has been very precise, clear and kind, giving me all the information I needed.
This airline did not inform the third…
This airline did not inform the third party that I booked the flight through (booking.com) that my original flight had been cancelled. When I went to check in for the flight, I was not able. I then looked up the departing flights on the airports website and learned the flight had been cancelled. This occured late at night, and AeroItalia's customer service was not available. I switched my flight to another flight which left the next morning, and was charged again.
I attempted to contact AeroItalia's customer service department for numerous days following to explain the situation, with no answer or waiting on hold only to have the phone hung up. I finally got through and explained the situation. The customer service representitive was very rude to me, and refused to refund any of my money (I have now paid for 2 flights) because I was the one that chose to change my flight to another one, and had made it to my destination.
I would recommend avoiding this airline is you can
Company lost bag
Company lost bag. Has now arrived and they want us to pay 200 euros to get it couriered to our hotel in Sicily. It was their fault! The hotel in Sicily have never heard of this. Just an aside "snacks" on board from Rome to Catania were black coffee, black tea or water. Terrible airline!

This is the worst company ever. Our flight is delayed from 13:20 to 18:40. Never even got a notification about it. This is beyond unbelieveble. Will never book them again

Only 1 star because I can’t choose zero. They made us purchase a brand new ticket and baggage because we didn’t live in Sicily. The website was asking for payment for check in even though it was less than 10 hours before our flight. The man was so racist towards the ladies after us in the line and said their e-ticket was not valid. Disgusting. Do not use this airline
Flight canceled. No refund after few months
I bought the flight tickets on 20 January for 19 April. The flight was canceled and they informed me on 17 March. I made more requests for refund and I still don’t have my money back until today, 08 June

Shocking airline.Were charged extra to check in at the airport when their website and app wouldn’t accept our online payments after trying numerous times. Had 2 flight delays at departure. Waiting for luggage …. Hoping it arrives. Taken almost as long as the flight time to arrive - and still waiting. Avoid at all costs.
Awful Airline
Awful company. Changed our flight times without informing us, and now they are not responding to our request to change to a different more suitable time. When you try to change the flight time online it charges you as if you are booking a new ticket in addition to luggage fees which I had paid for the original flight.
