I just starting with them, I am waiting for my paper work showing my policy to come in the mail showing what is covered and what is not.

Friendly and knowledgeable associate: Rachel C. All of my questions were answered-information was promptly emailed to me.
Buyer beware. Based on my experience, this company appears to look for technicalities or loosely interpreted exclusions to deny valid claims—even when the stated reason is not clearly supported by their own contract or addendum.
The technician who came to my home verbally explained the issue one way, but the written report submitted to the warranty company reflected something completely different. That written version was then used as the basis to deny my claim. When I questioned the discrepancy, I was told I could obtain a second opinion and resubmit the claim for reconsideration. However, even the independent company I hired for that second opinion warned me that this is a common tactic used by some home warranty companies, and that approvals after initial denial are extremely rare.
The process felt misleading and inconsistent, and I do not feel the company acted in good faith. Consumers should review their contracts very carefully and proceed with caution before trusting this company with major home repairs.
I would not recommend doing business with them.
Patrick displayed exceptional customer service. I look forward to seeing how well you all hold up to the contract.
First claim I made, AFC pre-scheduled the technician and then lied claiming they never did. The technician worked it out with me, but struggled with their communication channels. Second claim, and now it's an emergency, the agents know absolutely nothing. Apparently they outsource an answering service with the absolute salt of the earth that you'd wonder how they hold a job there, and then the main person answering claims incorrectly that the manufacturer's warranty is still in-service. When I found out it's not transferable to me, I can't get them on the phone anymore. They might as well not even be covering my home at this point.
Kevin Downs was a wonderful representation of your company
Very disappointed since we have been clients for a really long time. The one time that we go to use the policy, you guys say that we can’t. Should have gone with another agency or the one that our realtor had recommended.
Mike Pettway was very helpful and knowledgeable. A pleasure to deal with.
Easy how it takes to do the application for start to finish
Ittook8daystogetarepairpersontomy house.
He wasn't sure what was wrong
He went back to order 3 items.
Never heard from him again.
Had a different person arrive about 4-5 days later.
He said 2 of the items were working fine.
He tried to order the 3rd part and it wouldn't allow him blaming the failure of a spring on us.
I lost everything in my refrigerator and freezer.
You're lucky this review is a 2.
I look forward to having AFC as my new home warranty company.
Michael was very thorough and his follow up has been excellent
This company is not what it claims. I have tried twice to submit legitimate claims, and both were declined. I even used their technicians. One of which just stopped showing up after he tried to upsell me on the repair.
Have not received policy or any information regarding my warranty. Sent request to contact me no response. The policy will not be renewed

Jesse was AWESOME. In the Webster dictionary for Customer Service there should be a picture of her. This was a GREAT investment for my future warranty plans.
