Night crossing. Wanted to sleep. Endless, pointless announcements. Cabin prices ludicrously expensive for 1 star accommodation. Crossing itself ok.arrived very weary and disgruntled. Sent to cars almost an hour before disembarking. Miserable expensive experience.

It's the best way to go from London to Paris, as you can sleep during the night and arrive in Cherbourg in the morning. I take along my bicycle, which makes it easier to get to the gare in Cherbourg.
