I was a little sceptical about travelling with Grimaldi lines again as my previous crossing from Italy to Greece was truly horrific fortunately this crossing was slightly better.Firstly boarding and the crossing plus disembarking was faultless.Virtually the whole boat had a dreadful smell of smoke and the customer facing staff in the breakfast area probably had the worst manners I have ever experienced.Even potentially planning to spend a substantial amount of money in the onboard boutique the Greek person in charge was truly shocking.

Overall a pleasant experience. Main public areas clean and well maintained apart from curtains in Smilas Lounge. Plenty of choice for food and drink. Unfortunately the meals we chose in the self service restaurant were tepid. However, a helpful waiter did reheat the spaghetti dish ordered. Main disappointment was the cabin, no toilet paper but I was able to be given some when I went to the reception desk. Badly hung curtains and the shower area, one of the smallest I’ve ever experienced.
