Alpha Financial Management Reviews 

Can anyone help me on the above named company? I have been searching for a local company to help with my affairs and I am sure I read a review that the owner/advisor had been arrested but now I cant seem to find the review again?

Is this true?

After reading the reviews I was concerned however after discussing all matters with Mr Steve Lee I believe him to be a decent honest Knowledgable IFA. I have no reason to think any other way . Thank you for all your assistance

I had a bad feeling about Steven Lee from day one. I didn’t trust him, but foolishly allowed him to move my pension.

Then I heard that his Partner & Co Director left the company due to his dishonesty, I became concerned.
I had a review with another Financial Advisor, she pointed out missing funds.

I went to the Financial Ombudsman & they ruled that Alpha Financial Management had taken funds without my authority. The wording of Steven Lee’s correspondence was quite deceitful.

I was awarded £1100

I cannot understand how such a dishonest man is allowed to practice as a Financial Advisor. Beware!

when i was transfer to alpha financial management.Not by choice the company sent me letters and Christmas cards at first, that soon stopped and never heard from them since. i came up to retirement this year and didn't hear from them what so ever. i panicked and spoke direct to my pension provider and ended up staying with them. i feel totally let down by them and would strongly recommend people to have second thoughts before using them. poor show by alpha financial management. could anyone tell me if the have ever taken any payment from me because i have no idea if they have,

During the five years that this company were overseeing my investments my contact with them was non existent. When I recently requested some feedback in order to check how things were going , I was completely ignored.This is a very poor way to treat a client. Not surprisingly I have moved to a different advisor.

I was very lucky to have a diligent IFA spot irregularities in my Pension 12 years after it was sold to me.

I discovered funds had been taken without my knowledge & that the pension I was transferred from had Guaranteed Annuities (GARs).

The Ombudsman quickly ruled that the deductions were Unauthorised & the Pension Mis-sold. Alpha Financial Management Ltd of Crosby, Merseyside were ordered to pay me £65k.

Based upon my experience I consider Stephen Lee to be wholly untrustworthy & I emplore anyone who's had a Pension transferred by Alpha Financiancial to contact their old pension provider & check if it had Guaranteed Annuities. You could be losing Thousands!!! Also check thoroughly for deductions.
