Nothing works despite fact my drving licence has been held for over fifty years and my current address is unchanged for over thirty years.
Companies using this service must be losing a lot of custom as it's totally useless.

Agechecked does not work
Agechecked does not work. The second it pops up on your screen, close it and email the business you are trying to purchase from for a manual age check. Regardless of the accuracy of the information you provide Agechecked, the screen will always tell you ‘unable to verify your age. Please check your details’. Some of the age checking options are also bizarre, ranging from just confirming your details by writing them out to trying to verify you via your credit card. The only one I understand is the drivers license, but even then you’d think other options might be available like birth certificate, passport, military ID - basically anything your local store can accept. Massive waste of time.

Tried to use the website...unsuccessfully. Contacted them by phone and was told they would ring me back directly. Rang them again to be told it may take 24 hours...
Got in touch with the company I was buying from and suggested I email my driving licence. Job done in three minutes.

they say "we don't store your personal data" - they do store it.
it says i have accounts with all of my emails..... i never created any accounts. None of these accounts exist, and i cant sign in or reset passwords on any of them. I cant use the verify service, because it says my data is the same as the account, so i have to sign in,... which ofc isn't possible due to me not having an account.
This service is not possible to use, and is functionally useless. AVOID SERVICE AT ALL COSTS, IT WILL NOT WORK and it will just waste your time.

Doesn't work and my order was cancelled
I was only asked for my name and address which was pre-filled from the shopify order. It is not possible to verify a person's age based on their address, so obviously it failed and the order was cancelled. Complete waste of time. It could have asked for an ID document or information which actually enable it to carry out some form of check.
