I renovated a house in the Algarve in 2022, and since then, have furnished it with items purchased every month at AHA! I love the thrill of the auction as you never know what treasures are going to come from around the world. So many unique items. My home is truly a home because of Mark and his amazing team. They are also so helpful . I've literally only missed 2 auctions in all this time! I love the £5 starting prices in their online auction and i've had some huge bargains over the years. I have so many lovely antiques and some lovely items of jewellery - my home is filled with so much character! I've literally never had 1 single problem with them all this time. Never sold through them, only bought.

Great Service great people always lots of interesting items on offer a breath of fresh air if you are a collector or wish to move things on.The staff are super friendly and helpful .A very organised and welcoming outfit.

I have used this Auction House over the years, for buyng and selling all sorts of things, fom furniture to books, toys, kitchen apliances, gadgets,you name it. I have either bought or sold through them as they have proved helpful and reliable. I'll keep them handy

Great auction with a good atmosphere. Very professional with multiple ways to bid, either in the room, telephone or at home. Catalogue is online and they even have their own App. All very easy.

I never received all the goods that they had published on their website when I won the auction. There were items missing and they did not bother taking my complaint serious. Until today I am still waiting for them to contact me to compensate for the missing items or to make a profound apology.

We heard about them through an acquaintance, checked their website then decided to go to the warehouse to verify. We ended up attending a live auction and it was so fun. We bought a few items for our home at very good prices. The staff were very helpful, kind and professional throughout the process. They delivered our items to our home in Tavira 4 days later and we couldn't be happier. We'll definitely go back and keep an eye on the webite.

They are thieves!
When I first went to the Auction house, I gave them my banking details.
My wife was there and witnessed this
In your email from June 2022, they stated:
"2) If you have not made arrangements for the transfer of funds, and you wish to, please reply to this email with your CURRENT IBAN & ACCOUNT NAME."

So my question to them was why would I need to reply to this email, if I had already given them my banking details?
They are at fault here - and if they checked their records, they will find the bank details I gave them.
I added in the email:
"If you have lost them, please let me know, and I will give you the details again, so you can facilitate the transfer of funds to my account."
These thieves never replied to this last emails - and I never receive 1 cent of my proceeds of the sales.
I would advise anyone to avoid this company like the plague!!

We spent thousands of dollars from 2022 to 2022 at Auction House Algarve (AHA) furnishing our new home in Portugal. Their staff, with one exception, are kind and professional, especially Joaquim.

I referred many customers to AHA even though we have had a few problems with the owner, Mark. The most recent issue had to do with requesting the sale of several items purchased through AHA to make room for a shipment of personal possessions from our home in the USA.

Mark agreed to come pick up the items at our home to sell at a future auction. When he arrived, he told me that he would not accept some of the items because they did not ¨conform¨ to his standards. When I reminded him about how much we had spent at AHA and that he was more than happy to sell the ¨non-conforming¨ antique furniture, he became belligerent and I threw him out of our home.

Apparently, AHA has raised its standards significantly recently and loyal customers are neither appreciated nor respected. Not a problem for me, I will never spend another penny at AHA, and rather than recommend them to friends and acquaintances, I will be totally honest and tell them about our negative experiences with Mark.
