Just had a BMW delivered from Tayside to Doncaster. The driver was Chris Clark and this couldn’t have been a better experience. He was extremely helpful and although there were problems with the car that needed sorting out with the dealership he was patient and helpful. Cannot recommend his service highly enough.

Check the documentation they send you!

Having had a vehicle collected by AIC Transport on the instruction of Land Rover Financial Services at the end of the agreement on receiving emailed paperwork after collection I found they recorded a previous known defect on the vehicle as "accident damage" (despite there being no accident, and the defect being explained).

This document was shown as being "signed" by me, implicitly suggesting that I have agreed with this statement. However they "are not taking physical signatures or handing over personal tablets to customers to sign nor are we asking people to get within close proximity to show details. This is to keep all involved safe and compliant with COVID rules"

As a result, this means that they indicate we "signed" a document agreeing with the vehicle condition that we had not even seen. When we asked to have this information corrected they refused stating it cannot be amended.

It is completely unacceptable (even with COVID-safe measures) to effectively assign a "false" signature to paperwork which is then transmitted to the company that instructed the vehicle collection.

Their handling of the matter thereafter was confrontational, this could easily have been resolved by apologising (which they did not do) and correcting the document (which they did not do)

Presenting a document with a "signature" of someone who had not even seen it to a third party is fraudulently misrepresenting that the individual named is in agreement with the content.
