ordered a pair of boots

ordered a pair of boots, took weeks to arrive, were not correct, so returned, returns policy useless you have to pay yourself, there is no Aigle uk, all boots come from France so very expensive to return, as of now no refund, and no response only automated reply.

Onerous returns policy

Purchased two pairs from Mole Country Stores on 6th December 2020. Very comfortable and seemed excellent for walking which was what we wanted. However, in the first couple of days I was aware of a cold feeling in the left boot while walking over wet muddy fields. Initially I dismissed this as the boots looked and felt like a well made product and, at £149.99, not cheap. This persisted and there was water seepage into the left boot only. When I teleponed the Retailer, just outside their 28 days Returns/Refund policy period, I was told that they had to be returned to Aigle in France and would not be replaced/refunded until the Manufacturer had reported back. Furthermore, my only option was to purchase another pair in the interrim. Unhappy with this I contacted Mole Valley Farmers Head Office Customer Services. They were exremely helpful and authorised a return and refund or replacement at the Store from which I had purchased. When we were able to return to the Store I opted for a replacement but, on the first use of the new Wellies, I was aware of a leak in the same left boot. On the second wearing I was sure there was a leak and I contacted the Retailers Customer Services again. Once again they were extremely helpful and authorised a refund. I can only assume that the Manufacturer must have a quality control issue but any others purchasers should also be aware of the onerous returns policy they impose on their Retailers particularly as they are based in France.

- 5 stars, actually.

Okay, so in September 2020 I ordered a pair of boots from Aigle Canada. Now I'm having the same issue as everyone else: Aigle charged me the purchase and sent me a tracking number, but the tracking number doesn't work and the boots STILL have not arrived! I have tried contacting them at multiple customer service emails and via phone extension to the UK (the Canadian web store is "down for maintenance" until further notice). Now I am involving my credit card company.

Bummed about this whole situation. They have quality items, but the customer service is absolutely shameful.

Do not buy direct from Aigle

As for a previous review, wish I'd checked the reviews as buying direct from Aigle is unbelievably bad. Black holes have nothing on them. Shown as in stock on website and no shipping problems. After a week I chased the order to find that its coming from France but not shipping as congestion at ports and dont want consignments stuck at port ........... yes BREXIT was the excuse. Received shipping notification (via Hermes) 7 days ago and while there is a tracking number it cannot be tracked as Hermes havent received it yet. Cant cancel order as shipped. Money taken at time of order but no boots.

Do not buy

I cannot believe I didn’t check reviews before purchasing from this company, I’ve been waiting 2 weeks for the order, I’ve placed 2 calls and an email and nothing has arrived. Very concerned that I’ll receive poor quality. Wish I had stuck to Hunters, they have excellent reviews

Poor website experience, nice customer services people

Poor website experience. Placed two orders, first one gotncancelled without notifying me. Second one of alternative second choice boots hasn’t turned up yet after 4 days after being assured it would arrive for Xmas present, and courier hasn’t even received it. Multiple calls/emails chasing. I would say every time I call and speak to someone they are very nice and try to be helpful, they also gave me a 10% discount code for my second order for the hassle.
I’m just hoping the boots will be worth it, slightly concerned about some of the other reviews about quality on here.

DO NOT buy from Aigle

DO NOT buy from Aigle. I ordered a pair of boots. I received a cheap wallet instead. The receipt came from both Aigle and another company called Bi-tricycle which should have been a red flag. The person I was dealing with, Ralph said what I ordered was what I got when clearly, the receipt says I ordered boots. They did not rectify the situation, so I'm left with no refund and a wallet that I never asked for. But now that I'm stuck with this wallet, I've decided to use it only for charity purposes, i.e. to fill it with cash only to be used to help others.

So having had a very bad experience…

So having had a very bad experience with Muckboots, decided to give Aigle Parcours 2 Neoprone's a try

After about 3 months the boots strap seperated from the boot itself - fair enough - wear and tear

After 1 year of occasional use - mainly weekends - the left hand boot started to leak at the back where the sole joins the heel of the boot

After 18 mos the sole and boot on the left hand boot completely seperated

I am never going to spend anything like the amounts I have spent on Muck boots and Aigles ever again -

Cheap Dunlops are the way forward as I can get 10 pairs for the price of one of the supposed ''quality'' boots - its all hype and marketing nonsense that these boots will last - they are simply not fit for purpose

10 month old boots split, poor customer service - standard to every other review

Pretty much standard to everyone else. Split boots, very poor customer service.

I got in touch with Aigle about a pair of Parcour 2 ISO boots that were 10 months old, only worn for around 5 months of this time. Was told to send pictures showing the split, which I did, to then be told I needed to send them to France at my own cost (around £25 tracked and insured)

A post on social media shows there are many, many of us all with the same issue and all appear to be either ignored by Aigle or told to send boots to France. Out of the comments where boots had been sent back and examined, not 1 person has received a refund or replacement

Save your money - buy something else

I paid a small fortune for a pair of Aigle boots that have now split where the upper joins the sole of the boot.
I've had them for over a year and so contacted their customer service, supplying photos of the issue and they asked me to send them to their French office for inspection.
They've now just told me they're not prepared to do anything - why couldn't they have said that before I spent over £20 returning them?!! The photos quite clearly showed the issue.
I certainly won't be wasting money on this rubbish again

Ordered boots from a poor website and delivered the wrong ones. Had to pay £48 to return them...they refunded me for the postage but still waiting for the refund on boots. Over 6 weeks now ...customer service is crap.

Aigle wellies

My Parcour Aigle wellies were a nice pair of comfortable wellies but sadly after only 2 years of use they split along the seams of the foot. For wellies costing well over £130 I am not happy.
Will be buying another pair but Aigle will certainly NOT be on the shopping list.

Great product but NEVER buy direct from Aigle

I ordered a pair of clogs from Aigle. Despatched the next day. They were shipped with Hermes not DHL. Hermes claimed to have delivered - which they hadn't. As a purchaser I couldn't contact Hermes, had to go through Aigle. They did nothing. A month later and 5 emails to them I have just raised a Paypal dispute. Watch this space.
The clogs are a great product BTW, this would have been a second pair, but NEVER buy direct from Aigle.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service - wellies ordered that were faulty. I had to fund return postage to France myself rather than a pre-pad label

I have been chasing for two months for a refund for my return postage but they just do not respond to any emails and do not answer the phone.

I would have expected much more from Aigle its is very very poor.
