I am so upset … I have spent hours communicating with this firm.. they agree the conversation when we tried to solve this was was recorded..but won’t give me access ..basically they are lying .. can you believe they cancelled and refunded in full one flight but then we ended up with another flight on the very same day .. as if ???.. no sympathy.. they have agreed to reimburse a 79 year old pensioner 19 Euros from 179 Euros.. this all happened in April and the flight isn’t until 12 June … mean, and dishonest. I don’t know where to take this injustice now .. you get passed from pillar to post but they are not interested in offering a solution.. never again.. their whole website was difficult to follow .. you weren’t able to refuse services .. cheated oaps .. never again. Any advice how I can take this further?

Airline direct ist eine richtige "Abzocker" Platform. Ich kann nur empfehlen diese Website zu meiden.
Airline direct is a real "rip-off" platform. I can only recommend avoiding this website.

Awfull, we bought tickets with them and after doing the procces they cover us +90 Eur for "service fee" and after talking with the service line they was giving us just 40 back or giving us back the tickets money but paying the "we are stealing you service fee"

I bought a ticket form Cologne to Porto. The ticket was quite cheap and during the whole booking procedure the price on my screen was the one I expected. Only when I typed my credit details (on the very last stage of my booking) airline-direct changed the price and charged me extra 29.98. I saw it right after the clicking 'confirm'. airline-direct did not ask for any security confirmation form the bank (usually, if I buy something online, I am asked for some TAN code, but it was not the case with airline-direct).
Summarizing the things I got: I paid extra 30 euro for the service of airline-direct and this payment was, in my opinion, the cheating from airline-direct.de side. Specially, I am getting ZERO from airline-direct.de and paid 30 euro to them. Honestly, form what I have just seen airline-direct.de is just useless service.

March 13, 2018 I booked a flight from zurich to manila. Chose the suitable flight date and time as i am travelling with my 5-year old son. The flight going to manila has a 2 hour lay over in hk. I thought it was perfect as i am with a child. After paying the said tickets the page reloaded and showed the wrong flight details. It booked me a wrong flight time and got a 7-lay over in amsterdam. After a few minutes i contacted them via email if they could do some ammendments. After a few hours i received a cancellation email and they were charging me 100€. They next day the ticket fare of 1,106€ left my account eventhough it was already cancelled by them. Why qould tou charge me if the booking was already cancelled? Then the next day they charged me 100€ for the cancellation of my booking. Now i want to know how can i get my money back as it was them who cancelled the booking? I called them many times yet nobody was answering the fone. I emailed them yet its all auto-answer. Does anybody has the same experience?

I have tried calling their service team about 15 times, all during business hours, and have only received a busy signal. No response to emails either. I was simply looking for an explanation as to why my flight got switched from 12:30p.m. to 6:50a.m. but it looks like I won't be receiving that explanation. I also got hit with a 10 Euro fee from them for my credit card not going through.
I have found this to be typical of German customer service in general, but this is next-level bad.
No booking confirmation received 5 days after the booking. It is not clear, whether the booking is confirmer or will be cancelled. No respose to emails or phonecalls

In the very last minute once you entered all your details, they add the service fees - once you click Order, it's ordered and your money is lost - no refund whatsoever.
Never again - watch out for these kinds of companies, they s***! Rather take a local travel agency and pay them money for real work.
They let us wait for three hours at the airport and for two hours in the plane. Then they cancelled the flight. They cancelled other flights too, due to bad wheather. Now fun begins:
They deliberately reduced the number of agents for rebooking hundreds, maybe thousands of passengers to three. Meaning you had to wait 6-8 hours for a flight next day. Meaning they saved costs for hotels and replacement flights.
They also had a woman there who obviously had always dreamed of being a Nazi-Blockwart. She offered me a bet that she could have removed me from a public area by security and 'treated accordingly'. Good to know what kind of employees that company employs.
Sorry because of english, but I have to share this with other people that want to book a flight. Skip airline-direct.de!
I booked a flight from Viena to Paris, but something went wrong with my credit card so I had to provide a new one. All they did is: held me on the hotline for 1 hour, charged 20 euro more for a change and nothing else. I had to call airberlin personally to provide them a new credit card number as well as fluege.de for their services and everything else. Terrible service, terrible waiting times on the hotline and nothing for a "customer" that is booking over their website. Please skip them and pay extra 100 euro if needed, otherwise you will spend it on hotline and extra costs that they will charge you with for anything you need.
I don't want to mention that I almost missed my flight to Paris for Roland Garros, because they did nothing.
I had some problem with my booking with airline-direct so I called the number specified on your website. A woman answered my call and she spoke only German. I told her sorry but my German is not good. I asked her if she can speak English and help me in this situation. Her answer was, she can speak perfect English but she will not speak English as the portal I have called is German. Then I asked her what if the customer is living in Germany and he booked flight by German website and cannot speak German, is there any way to help him. She said no. She understood what all I said in English but she refused to help me at all. I am really disappointed by your customer service. I understand if the person doesnt speak english but if she does and still refuse to help me is really disappointing. Next time I will never book any flight from your portal. And also on your german website you should write that airline-direct is only for German speaking customers.
They told me they couldn't make a booking through my card, but then my card was charged anyway. Then they asked me to pay a cancellation fees of 100 EUR. Of course I didn't pay, but they haven't returned my money at all. They are a thief and don't ever use this company. I am considering suing them.
As soon as anything goes wrong, you cannot contact them. I tried both helplines and emailing them and got no response.
It's not worth the potential problems.

Speaking to a consultant is all but impossible, and when we finally got through to satisfy THEIR request, it still was not resolved and THEN want to charge you a EURO 50 - 100 fine for 'breaking contract'. I did not break the contract - I spent hours and hours on the phone and sent dozens of e-mails through their website.... no response but the automated e-mail which is not helpful at all. I will never, never use them again.
Those guys are aweful you'll have to wait at least hour untill you get response on the phone, not answering to emails, just waste of time and money be careful guys!!
booking a flight with this travel agency is simple. Having said this, thereafter, their is NO way to contact them.. during one week, repeated e-mails with no response, fax with no response, telefone.. hours in the "waiting slope".. and noone picks up the phone. In summary, total customer DISSATISFACTION.. this agent is severely hurting the Brand Image of numerous reputable airline, hotel or rental companies. have lived and worked in 8 different countries and never experienced such lack of customer service anywhere!!

I booked a flight for my girlfriend in Austria (I´m in Spain) yesterday in the morning, and 24 hours later I received an email telling me that the price of the ticket has changed and I had to pay 35 euros more in order to do the ticket (I paid the day before through some banking transference, so when I received the email it was already paid). About 40 minutes after I saw the email, I started to call them here in Spain. I was calling them at least 10 times, some calls I was waiting more than 20 minutes, and all the time was the same: "At the moment, we have no available officers to attend you, please wait...". I wrote them twice and also no answer. The flight is for saturday, so I didn't have enough time. I was looking for other flights for the same price and with a better connection, but I couldn't buy it since I didn't know anything from this company (and also the other flight was already paid)...After 7 hours trying to call them, they finally picked up the phone!!! They even knew about my reservation code, and the only answer I could get was they were in some meeting... After paying the 35 euros (of course), I got the ticket.
I will never use this company again. The prices are good, but the customer service is the worst.
