My flight with VietJet Air from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi was truly a wonderful experience

From check-in at Tan Son Nhat International Airport to landing at Noi Bai International Airport, everything went smoothly and on time.

The cabin crew were friendly, always smiling, and very supportive to passengers. The aircraft was clean and comfortable, making the whole journey relaxing and enjoyable. The takeoff was smooth and the landing was gentle — a perfect trip from South to North.

I’m truly satisfied and will definitely continue choosing VietJet for my future travels!

Deeply Disappointed by Qatar Airways’ Lost & Found Service

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of response and accountability from Qatar Airways regarding a lost laptop I may have left at the Morjane Lounge in Doha Airport.

I submitted a detailed report on 7 July 2025 (Ref: TUNLPI124906) via their official system and followed up multiple times via email. To date, I have received no acknowledgment or update, not even a confirmation that my case is being reviewed.

For an airline that prides itself on being "5-star," this level of customer care is unacceptable. I expected at least a basic courtesy reply or indication that the matter is being investigated.

The silence and lack of urgency from the Lost & Found team severely tarnish the airline’s otherwise strong reputation. This is a critical issue for me, involving a valuable item, and I am left with no support or clarity.

I sincerely hope Qatar Airways improves its handling of lost property and treats its customers' concerns with the seriousness they deserve.

Don't Trust Skytrax Ratings

Unfortunately, I have to fly often. Most are long-haul flights with different airlines. I think Skytrax ratings are a joke. I once tried to leave a review in 2024 with Lufthansa after a truly terrible flight from DEL to MUC, the worst of my flying career, with pics of boarding pass and all. The comment was never published! After a poor AKL to SIN flight with Air NZ recently, I was shocked to see that Air New Zealand is a 4-star Airline. But perhaps I shouldn't have been. I suspect a systematic bias, with rich country airlines being rated more favourably. I don't trust Skytrax, nor should anyone else.

Skytrax posted many of my reviews but…

Skytrax posted many of my reviews but only if they were positive and I started to notice over time I never received confirmation emails for the negative I submitted and no follow-up. It leads me to believe they're very biased towards the airlines and they don't like to post the truth. Specifically I posted about scoot out of Singapore twice and both reviews were never posted I even tried to repost the last review of Scoot three times about baggage theft nothing went up. No follow up.

Skytrax

Quote:
Investigations
In 2012, the online investigations company KwikChex filed five complaints with the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) related to statements on the Skytrax website describing the volume and reliability of their reviews as well as the official status and update frequency of their ratings. The ASA ruled that there was no evidence that Skytrax had followed the robust procedures it claimed it had in place to check that all reviews were genuine. Although Skytrax argued that every review underwent a four-stage authentication process, it said it was unable to provide proof it had followed its own procedures, since customer emails were deleted 24 hours after a review was submitted. In 2012, the authority upheld all five complaints and Skytrax agreed to modify some promotional wording.

Beware British Airways economy flights

Beware British Airways economy flights. They might think we are not human beings sat nearly 12 hours in seats that don't recline.
I flew recently with family from LHR to GIG (London Heathrow to Rio de Janeiro) 11.5 hours flight in a A350-1000 aircraft, sat on row 35, seats 35H to K.
How is that possible?

Truly a BAD joke

Truly a joke! Obviously these reviews are PAID FOR by the airlines, as they are truly ridiculous.. Some of the worst, most inefficeint, negligent, dishonest airlines will have 5 star reviews to boast about! Another example of corporate dishonesty, serving themselves not the customer.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I had an awful experience travelling in Turkish Airlines. I chose Turkish Airlines over British Airways, Emirates and Qatar Airways to travel back from Heathrow to Lahore via Istanbul on 23rd August 2024 (TK-1988 Heathrow to Istanbul & TK-714 Istanbul to Lahore). We booked this flight a couple of months in advance in June 2024, however in July 2024 they changed the time of the flight and pushed it back by 5 hours arbitrarily leaving us with no other option to change flights as we had to travel back to Pakistan on 23rd August so we sticked with Turkish Airlines for our journey. We were a total of 6 passengers (family members) travelling together and booked all our luggage through Turkish Airlines Counter at Heathrow at 3:30 AM and received the boarding passes for both flights along with tags of our luggage. Upon reaching Pakistan in the morning of 24th August 2024 at 1:30 AM, we waited to collect our luggage however to our utter astonishment, one of our main bags which had valuable items, couldn't be found. We waited at the airport till the very end until the luggage belts went empty however there was no trace of our bag. We reached out to the Airport authorities and filed Property Irregularity Report and provided them with bag tag, boarding pass and picture of the bag on spot and they assured that they have received a list of missing baggage and that our baggage has been located and it will come tommorow in the next flight. To our sheer disappointment, 5 days have passed but they haven't sent our bag yet. I have been taking up this matter with Turkish Airlines and Lahore Airport authorities on daily basis but with no luck. I can't tell how much mental agony, stress and trauma has been caused by Turkish Airlines to us. We chose it over other internationally recognised airlines, however, we never knew that travelling through Turkish Airlines will become such a nightmare for us. We want nothing but our own luggage back ! but we are unable to see any efforts being put to return our bag to us despite lapse 5 days !
I am extremely disappointed and suffering highly at the hands of Turkish Airlines !

Qatar airways decided to celebrate its…

Qatar airways decided to celebrate its best airline win by devaluing it's avios currency further. And charge their most loyal clients more avios for rewards and upgrades. It sneekly increased avios required for all upgraded at departure airports by 50%. You can argue that QR is entitled to do what It wants with its reward loyalty porgrame. But it should inform its clients through the ogh their website or by email. But it did not do so. It is truly unethical and immoral. I was informed after requesting to do the upgrade at their platinum lounge at hammad Air port. I had to accept the transaction and be charged 50% more because the transaction has taken place and there was no way to revoke. It is disgusting. They said that it's cheaper if it's done online. I did try online until the night before but the upgrade was not going through. Although there were 9 business class seats available up to 10 hours before departure. This new pety cheap policy has started on the 9th of June. Please loyal passengers be aware 😔😔

Avoid Copa airlines

Avoid Copa airlines, they have horrible customer service, they inconsiderate to families with small children. They assigned seats separating my 7 years old daughter and my wife, who had our infant child with her and me in a 6 hours flight. They did assigned other passengers with older teenagers seats together but not us who had to care for to small children, also exposing my daughter to predators by seating her in a separate seat from me and my wife. There representatives even called me names because I was trying to switch seats with other passengers after they refused to at least put my daughter with my wife. Horrible airlines.

I don’t believe that this company does…

I don’t believe that this company does a fair work and objective reviews on airlines neither on airports. Passengers can get essily angry on airlines for delays/ baggage damsges and etc, but you can objectively see that lufthansa group’s intraeuropeam flights are low-cost airlines kind of a flights - compare to AF/KLM (that still offer alcohol beverages/food/coffee and etertainment on their short haul flights and having the same rating). Korean Air has terribly old aircrafts with stinky toilets but they are considered 5*, cathay limits you with food and alcohol on 14hrs long haul flights (comparr this to 4* only Emirates or Etihad). Not even talking about their airport ratings

I no longer belive they are independent

I wrote a negative review regarding a 5 star airline..regarding a 12 hour delay and a blatant lie regarding the reason for the delay (I didn't word it as bluntly as that) so they could avoid statutory compensation..skytrax published it and then removed it two days later...I emailed them and asked why it had been removed. they never responded ..so I can only assume they are in the pockets of major airlines

Seems inaccurate

Do you think they may rate an airline based on the benefit $ they get from the airline? Think hard!!

Airlines pay them to get high rating and they extort airlines for free flights

Airlines pay them to get reviews. The more they pay, the higher their rating is. Too bad. Just once it would be nice to see a fair rating from people who have used the airline service without fake reviews from friends and family or by bribing sites like Skytrax. I've also found out that Skytrax employees demand free perks from airlines and if they don't get what they want, they decrease their rating. Is that not illegal and what is considered extortion????

Total lack of credibility

Interesting that Singapore and Qatar are currently the top 2. Trustpilot reviews slate both of them but Skytrax ratings are not linked to customer reviews. Neither do airlines pay Skytrax, allegedly. Have had experience of Qatar's non existent customer care, when a phone agent gave me a 1 way fare for a return trip : said I could reserve seats free of charge when booking online but failed to mention it depends on what you pay for the ticket. Then their so called customer care ( joke ) emailed stating it was my fault as I agreed to their terms and conditions, and lied about what their phone agent said. After 24 emails from me to Qatar, still no plausible response. According to Skytrax UK head of marketing, " We cannot comment on a single experience a customer may have, and your issue is with the airline and not something we can comment on. " Numerous emails to the CEO @ Skytrax have been ignored. Interesting that Skytrax state on their website that their evaluation is based on " detailed analysis of the airline or airport quality standards by Skytrax audit office. The ratings use a quality scale from 1-Star through to the exclusive 5-Star Airline and 5-Star Airport ranking. The ratings are based on appraisal of airline and airport front-line product and service standards, using a unified and consistent rating system. The ratings focus on the quality of customer experience for relevant product and service factors." So that CONTRADICTS their statement that it has nothing to do with customer reviews !!!! I can only conclude and agree with others, that Skytrax have no credibility whatsoever.

Scam

the reviews you find on Skytrax are bought and paid for, you can't trust them at all It's a scam from end to end! This is really something the EU Commission should look into, as this is customer deception!

Biased and questionable

How does for example an airline like Qatar Airways with a Trustpilot rating of 1.6 become a 5* airline.

I flew/fly hundreds of times long haul biz and first with different airlines, their crews are pretty good but the old busses (lack of gates), their shabby hub, their lounges. Most biz seats are average or below except Qsuite but still not the reference.

It's a bit sad even companies like Skytrax are biased and clearly cannot be trusted.
