STAY AWAY FROM THIS "COMPANY"
I booked Airpark Me's 'Meet and Greet Service' through online comparison site Airport Parking Deals, whose own website claims they are partnered with trustworthy and reliable parking partners". Nothing could be further from the truth.
I left my car with the Airpark Me representative in the Short Stay car park of Heathrow Airport Terminal 2 on 26 Feb 2025 and returned to collect it on the evening of 16 March. The return delivery driver seemed wholly unfamiliar with the return location in the Short Term Car park, but eventually found the right place, parked my car, gave me the keys, and instead of helping with my luggage as advertised (I'm 74 years of age) and simply dashed off to meet his ride back.
It was late evening and dark, but I could see there was some damage to my vehicle. I couldn't telephone the company as my mobile SIM card for the UK had been mislaid whilst away on vacation and using a local SIM. I called to report the damage after I managed to replace my SIM card and was advised to photograph the damage and email the photos to Airpark Me, which I did.
It's now 16 April, and my emails have gone unanswered. I have called the company's listed mobile number (0208 561 2525) many times, at best being told I would be called back shortly but with no call forthcoming, but now my calls go straight to voicemail. It seems I have been blocked.
I have checked the Companies House Register and discovered that Airpark Me was compulsorily dissolved in November 2020. Moreover, two other companies that Airpark Me's online websites assert are the same or linked entities - SK Park and Valet Limited and SK Parking Limited - also no longer exist having been dissolved in June 2018 and Jul 2021 respectively. Airpark Me's website is still operating and open for bookings, and according to Nominet (the UK Domain Registry) its Airparkme.co.uk web domain is owned by an unnamed (but validated) individual, not a registered company. Unless Airport Parking Deals (who I have contacted and await a reply) accepts some responsibility to help in this matter I have little hope of being recompensed for the damage to my vehicle sustained whilst it was supposedly being looked after by Airpark Me. However, I note from Trust Pilot that others before me have had similar problems and I'm keen to inform others of my experience so they can avoid a similar problem. To that end, in addition to leaving this review on Trust Pilot I will be reporting my findings to Heathrow Airport, Trading Standards, my Credit Card Company, Companies House, and HMRC.
