Never received vacuum - No response at all from company
UPDATE (8 Jan 2024): They finally communicated with me by email after one month of silence. The email was a non-apology apology, e.g., making excuses as opposed to taking full responsibility and acknowledging the impact on me (and other customers) of their complete lack of communication.
They did one good thing in the interim: Instead of continuing to sell the vacuum, they now list it as "Sold Out". Better late than never I reckon, and b/c I want to support a small business that makes a good product (from all the reviews I read of the vacuum itself), I changed my rating to 2 Stars.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: On 6 Dec 2023 I ordered a "HEPA Vacuum w/ Refills × 1; Jet Refills begin after 6 months." I paid $275 with a credit card. Their website states: "Carbon Neutral Shipping (3-4 Days)."
I immediately received a confirmation email, that said, "we will notify you when your vacuum has shipped."
Four days later I had not received any further information (it was supposed to have been shipped within 4 days), so I sent an email asking if they would update the status of my order. I never received a reply.
They do not offer phone or chat support, just email.
When I had not received the product after 14 calendar days (10 business days), I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for Metropolitan New York. I noted in the complaint, "if they will simply communicate with me, that will help a lot. If production is behind or similar, just let me know!"
It's been almost a month and I never received a reply; BBB has not received a reply to their inquiry; and I never received the vacuum. Fortunately, my credit card company agreed to reverse the charge, so at least I did not lose $275.
