Helene really helped me out to find a workshop for the application process. She made some magic, because all next courses had been booked out. But she called me back some minutes later and she did found a spot were she booked me in.

Most graduates, when finished with their education, are jobless and broke.

I heard twice lecture by Morten Arendrup, and it was one of the most practical, focused and useful presentations on the topic of finding jobs in Denmark and building a network. He has many examples and advices, and common sense answers to questions. Tak!

The workshop is very useful. It helped me know how to build a network. Actually, I am pretty bad at doing this. It is important to know that network is not directly for getting a job.
I think the time of doing practice is a little bit long. I think if there is more knowledge about the last point of the agenda "ways of networking", it will be better.

When I joined Akademikernes as a freshly unemployed I already had good education and relevant working experience. However, I did not know anything about job search in Denmark. I was assigned a great coach Linda who helped me to understand how to approach Danish job market successfully. We concentrated on application writing and the interview process during the coaching sessions.
Those coaching sessions were really helpful - I got my dream job with one of the best employers in Denmark within 2 months since the start of my coaching.

I have been to several coaching sessions or courses on job searching in DK, but none has been as useful as the ones done by Linda John.

The coincidence was that the job coaching sessions took place in the same period as I was interviewing for my current position as Communications Consultant at NNIT
The sessions were very professional with a lot of exercises we did and reflections I found very useful. Linda John was very good at spotting my personality traits, my strengths and weaknesses and and asking the right questions, trying to understand and adapt to my situation.

Linda John's approach was really different that all the other people I met at the A kasse or Job center, she really made a difference.

It is well documented that happier people perform better. It is also well known that being unemployed is a trigger for a depressive cycle that can erode motivation and ambition. With out jobminds motivation I wouldn't have escaped the metaphorical "joblessness sofa" and would not have made it where I have today.
