Paid Reservation Without Room Availability
I had a negative experience with Akademikerhilfe. They required a €20 fee to reserve a room, which I paid. Unfortunately, the next day, I was informed that no rooms were available. I was not refunded, leaving me frustrated and without accommodation. I recommend confirming room availability directly before making any payments.

We would like to clarify that the €20 fee is a registration and processing fee for handling an application, not a payment for a guaranteed room reservation. This information is transparently communicated during the application process.
Room allocation depends on availability at the time of processing and cannot always be guaranteed, especially during peak admission periods.
We regret if this caused frustration and understand that searching for accommodation can be stressful.
