AVOID, customer service is just rude, they do respond but it's basically just to say nothing they can do. Delivered the wrong product and the product that was delivered had a badly damaged box, clearly the box had been opened so it was not a new product.

Really disappointed to be writing a poor review as this is the first time I’ve used this company. I got 2 different orders of festool tools. One order was quite a bit over £2k the other not so much but still a lot of money. My high order delivery was left at the side of the house when my partner had to leave the house unexpectedly and wasn’t in. I did t get home till after 7pm in the evening and delivery had been there since late morning/ early afternoon. No signature just left there. The other item that wasn’t as expensive wasn’t delivered as different delivery company had refused to leave as no one was in and rescheduled. When I called the company to make them aware that I want happy with the way this happened and they should know, it was like I was why was I calling! The gentleman at the other end of the phone didn’t ask my name, my address or my order. He was totally uninterested in what I had to say! At one point I was wondering if I had been cut off as he said absolutely nothing and it had come across as I was bothering him about something without importance to him. I will never use this company again because of this…..the attitude was very disappointing. I thought I had the wrong number at one point. It’s sad really as the process was great up until the. As the order to delivery time was great and as described. Just a pity the customer service is more than inadequate.

Ordered after 1pm on a Friday, shipped Friday afternoon and delivered before lunch on Saturday, What more can I say. Oh Yes!, that was standard free delivery! Brilliant service and great price

Telephone support was great. The website and selection of goods impressive. The pricing for the tools I bought was competitive and delivery prompt. I will definitely shop with them again, especially for my Festool equipment. I would also add they were interested, I was spending a lot of money, (for me), but probably not a lot in the grand scheme of things, but I still felt they cared enough to get it right for me.

Excellent service and item ordered late Friday afternoon was delivered on Monday. Very competitive prices and would definitely recommend and use again.

The Dremel that I bought was cheaper here than in most places - even when the additional postage cost to Scottish Highlands was included. Unfortunately, the unit was dead on arrival. The response by Alan Wadkins Ltd was exceptional, especially as it was over the holiday period. A replacement unit was despatched as soon as was possible. I will most definitely use them again in the future.

I always find the staff very pleasant and helpful and the prices are competitive.

Courier that they chose failed to deliver several days in a row, company not apologetic at all, nor it seems overly concerned. Still awaiting refund despite cancelling order. If you are after customer service go elsewhere.

Purchased a Makita combi drill online with Alan Wadkins, but forgot to add some drill bits. Phoned them up and added these to the order the following day via their very polite and efficient customer services team. Price was excellent and service great, so will be using them in future. Drill was delivered promptly.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Very poor service, I received my order with the manufacturer build fault about a month ago and is still not sorted. Spent over £1000 and was left with this issue without any help! Customer service doesn’t exist at this store. Don’t waste your time and money!

Purchased a Ledlenser head torch, the transaction was easy, free delivery and very quick, and the price was the best, marginally cheaper than a massive online sales business who appear to be cheaper until they lump on the delivery at checkout. Well done to Alan Watkins Toolstore ltd

Never heard of this company before but will return. Best price for a Makita extended hedge trimmer. Delivery via a reliable courier - FedEx - although I did have to call AWL to get a tracking number which should, I think, be supplied automatically. When I rang, I got straight thru to a real and very helpful person without any wait. Excellent all round.

I ordered a shredder (that was cheaper than on Amazon!) very late evening on 25th March. Got an immediate confirmation by email. I received an email on the 27th saying the item had been sent and it arrived on 29th in the morning.
No problems at any stage.
Happy to use again.

Firstly, AWLT is a fantastic trusted retailer that quite often beats all other online stores in terms of price and reliability.

However. I ordered my Dremel multi tool and AWLT was by far the cheapest for that model which inc the 3-piece setup, the process of setting up an account and the whole process of buying from them is ultra quick and simple, I received multiple emails about the purchase and I waited for the tracking details...

OH DEAR....

This is where AWLT went south, They DONT offer any form of tracking with whoever they send your product with or I certainly haven't received the details and I've bought using my wife's account in the past and never received a tracking number.

THIS NEEDS SORTING! almost everyone who buys online needs to know where the items they buy from online retailers is, Due to this and only knowing that its going to be the next working day I cant leave the house in case it comes and I'm out, both my next door neighbors wont be in either...

I, like many others would rather pay a few quid more to get a better postage service.

Come on guys get up to speed with your posting services please.

A really, really helpful toolstore. Over a year after I bought a dremel multi-tool, I found a fault with one of the batteries, and I couldn't even access my emailed invoice. Within a few minutes they gave me the contact details to make my warranty claim, and forwarded me a copy of my invoice. Wowzer! Thank you to Alan Wadkins toolstore.
