Low quality equipment, terrible service.
Stuck in a contract with equipment that has never worked properly. Surveillance cameras that don't record 24/7, but only record when movement is detected (that is, if it detects the movement). Seems they only have two settings for recording; ultra low sensitivity, and ultra high sensitivity. If it's too low, it will not record people on the property unless they're the size of a truck, and when it too high, it records every little shadow movement. Problem with the high setting is that Bell only allows for 1000 clips in a month, so once you bust that cap in a week, you can no longer record anything for the rest of the month (even if you delete all of the clips). So if something happens after you bust the cap, tough luck. I replaced all of the cameras with Nest cams and subscribed to Nest Aware at the fraction of the cost of Bell Smart Home. Tried to downgrade my service to a cheaper non-cam price, but Bell won't budge. Says I have to pay for cam service even if they don't work because I'm on contract. Apparently, they do not need to keep their end of the contract. Avoid at all costs. Not worth the hassle.

Contacted them for medical alarm set up for my mother. Very hard to schedule a time and waited 3 weeks. They confirmed appointment 2 and 1 day ahead. Installation day cancelled. My sister from out of town came to make sure that my mother would understand this new process and of course we were left with no options to go elsewhere. The other company within 24 hours set up the new system. Bell does not have installers needed to keep up with the work. Honestly how will they service their clients properly. Very disappointed Other companies fees are the same so Bell get your act together ….

Alarmforce stealing 600
I know longer have alarm force and contract has been up for 1 year. They told me it went to collections. Telus bought alarm force and in August telus charged my bank from the void blank cheque I gave them for $300. The bank reversed it and warned them not to do it again as they have no authority, especially since they sold the debt to a collections agency and were already paid for it and had no valid contract. They didn't charge it in September but tonight they charged another $300. I can't believe this company. Thieves
I REGRET signing up with Alarm FARCE!
I REGRET ever signing up with Alarm FARCE! My three year contract is almost up and I’ve had NOTHING BUT HASSLES AND PROBLEMS SINCE DAY ONE!!! Their equipment doesn’t work, they refuse to replace it, sending techs over every other freaking week, just to fix the issue and have it fail again days later. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT, USE THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY. It’s been nothing but a nightmare dealing with these con artists. The last “customer service” rep I spoke to admitted to me that they KNEW their equipment had a high failure rate, and they still install and charge people for this crap!

Have been with alarm force almost a year. Last review April 14 2017. Set alarm off by accident a few times. Company was quick to respond to the alarm. So far very happy with Alarm force with no problems of any kind with equipment or customer service. Would recommend Alarm force.

In 2015, we had our home broken into. Due to their advertising the name Alarm force came to mind right away. Made one phone and the very next day their service technician called us back and was at the house within the hour and installed the entire system. Its been over 2 years since the system was installed and I have to say it has worked seamlessly. The only issues we have ever had was due to our family not programming properly. Any time I needed to inquire about the user applications or product information, Alarm Force has always been very professional and wonderful to deal with. It has been a real peace of mind and my family feels very secure in having this system. Our contract is coming up for renewal and I have no hesitation in staying with Alarm Force. Thank you for reading my review, do yourself a favor and call Alarm Force.
Problems from day 1
Had my Alarm Force system installed in August 2016. Have only had 2 consecutive months were we didn't have problems or require a service call. We went with the video system as we spend the winter down south and wanted to let keep a close eye on home. 2 weeks after we left, the video camera went down. It didn't work for 2 and a half months. We had an electronic lock installed in late spring, it doesn't work. Unfortunately the technicians that they send are not always familiar with the system. They spend a good deal of time on the phone with their supervisor trying to troubleshoot the problem. As I have signed a contract, I am stuck for now. Once the contract is up, I will have alarm Force remove their equipment and I will look for a new service provider

I would never recommend anyone to buy this system. I bought a door bell camera for my house and it's gets disconnected every two weeks. Very poor service and I regret that I bought this system.

Rating a System Install & It's Operation
I had an AlarmForce system installed in my home recently.
I would rate the installation technician as bad as he had very bad hygiene.
The installation day was poor as several things did not work properly and the technician had to be on the phone for a few hours. The garage door sensor was not compatible and no follow-up was done as promised.
The system itself I would rate as average as the doorbell camera time delay to the cell phone is so long that by the time we log onto the AlarmForce site the person at the door is long gone.
