"YOU SHUT UP"
"YOU SHUT UP" that is what the customer service representative behind the counter at Albert Hein in the Sarphaty straat in Amsterdam told me twice eralier this evening.
After doing my usual groceries in this branch of AH i approached the customer service counter to ask information about the billing of 2 packed soups since on the receipt it was not clear why the bonus and discounts had been calculated.
The young, disinterested, uncabable boy bubbleed something while not even looking at the cashier receipts nor at me but turned his sight away, than i told him that i wished to return this items since he could not explain how much i had been just charged, he replied no you cannot return it again bubbling something uncomprehesible. Suddenly as he saw the manger asked for help but the lady was busy iwth some other tasks and asked to wait. He continued to finally look away again and to repeat me to SHUT UP.
This is the third time in 2 years that some employee of this Dutch supermarket chain is unacceptably RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and use AGGRESSIVE tones.
I have doubts that people that get a job at AH are being trained for any form of kindness and service but to the contrary.
I will close the account I have for home and for company delivery with AH, i beleive there something bettere out there to shop for groceries, some supermarket where hopefully customers are treathed as such.
They dont seem to understand yet that without customers they will all be out of work someday
