Incompetent and/or negligent mechanics

This is a late review but I figure it's still useful. Last year July 2022, I brought my car in for an inspection of 3 different concerning sounds coming from the car. 2 of those sounds I came in for a year prior to that, 2021, but they "couldn't reproduce" the sounds to identify the problem, even though the sounds are heard well every time I drive.

So I brought my car in last year, July 2022, for the 3 sounds. I had 2 days left on my 3rd party warranty, MaxCare. I needed them to do it through the warranty since it covered practically everything mechanical. Btw they have fixed my car through that warranty a few times before with no issues, so it's not warranty related issue. I asked Maya or May, the person handling my repairs, to have one of their mechanics do a ride along with me so that he can hear the sounds, that way they can't say they couldn't hear them or reproduce them. She said a foreman would ride with me. Came out some young guy, not sure if he's a foreman, and we rode. He was able to hear 2/3 sounds and we went with that.

I left my car there and left on my trip. I got zero updates on my vehicle for the entire MONTH that it sat there. Through out the month, thanks to my dash cam, I was able to monitor their activity. In total there were 4 separate times they looked at / test drove my car. When I got back, I got ahold of them and made my way to the dealer to pick it up. When I arrived I was given the "they couldn't reproduce the sounds" bs, so they weren't able to fix anything, and they proceeded to charge me for the inspection. She told me she filed a claim with the warranty the next day after the drop off, but the mechanics conveniently, after an entire month, couldn't replicate the sounds to identify the issue. I was sent back with my car still having the sounds that I could hear even before I pulled out of the parking lot. I was left with an unfixed car and now no warranty to cover the repairs.

Now, a year later the sounds are x3 worse and louder. I still can't figure out if my car wasn't fixed due to their incompetence, negligence, malicious negligence, or a kick back from the warranty company to not go forth with repairs. I mean, my friend's mechanic identified 2/3 sounds without inspection. How is a dealer mechanic that specializes in my vehicle, after clearly hearing the sounds in a ride along, was not able to replicate or identify the sounds for an ENTIRE MONTH that my car was there? And the fact that May or Maya just nonchalantly released my car unfixed, having me foot the inspection bill and now having to fork out potentially thousands to repair something the warranty would have covered if the dealer did their job, is just a cherry on top.

To get ahead of any apology letter to this review, I would like you guys to make this right and fix my damn car at no cost to me. I will, however, pay you, the dealer, the deductible amount of my now expired warranty as I would have last year IF Y'ALL DID YOUR JOB RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. Just a shame how dealers care less about the people they service.

I had a great experience with buying a car at Nick's place. My assistant was Lia Nortes and I was impressed by how knowledgeable she is, how quickly she got all my needs and had all sorts of options available for me. Really one of the best experiences with a sales person!
Definitely will do all the BMW work in here
