I was tripled charged and nobody helped me refund. They charged me 3 times. It even shows in the transactions page. I tried contacting them 5 times through different channels but nobody is replying or even trying to issue a refund. This is truly unfair.
I was scammed into buying non-refundable wrong products.
I headed to the website for the AlgoExpert. Right on the page of AlgoExpert, I clicked purchase AlgoExpert. it led me to the bottom of the page, where there are two options: a bundle (website pass) and a standalone product. I'm not interested in the bundle, therefore I clicked the standalone option. But it turned out what I got was their promoted new product - InfraExpert, instead of AlgoExpert.
I realized that this is an evil design that intentionally makes rush buyers into buying the wrong product. They offer no option to buy the standalone AlgoExpert on the detail page. I tried to ask for a refund. But there's no such option. In FAQ they claim that they won't issue any refund under any circumstance.
What's worse, there is even no after-sale customer support. You can only contact them for e.g. business inquiries which increases their sales number. They state that they'll ignore all other forms of inquiries.
I am so upset about it.
Update:
They replied to me and swapped the product for the one that I intended to buy. They explained that they closed the access to buy standalone products other than InfraExpert during the "sale". They insisted that this was not a deliberate evil design.
A tip for anyone who wants to purchase AlgoExpert during future "sales" like this, you can access all the products through the bulk purchase option made for group buyers.
Clement is a great teacher and the platform is elegant and effective. Some say the examples are easy and you won't learn anything; this is not true. If you are beginning, this is what you want. and if you are a experienced, theres no better way to refresh. Would highly recommend.
Weak product, easy questions. Pretty much a waste of time and money. You won't learn anything. There are other, better resources out there, most of which are free or a lot cheaper.
