If you're a tenant, they don't care about you

I would highly recommend rental tenants in Melbourne to avoid this agency like the plague. Poor communication and lack of interest in tenant rights are shocking. Never had such a negative experience with a real estate agency in Melbourne. They didn't care if I needed something repaired and if it was affecting my health. They didn't care if the property was in a uninhabitable state. I essentially got pushed into vacating because of the condition of the property. And when you try to negotiate compensation and resolution, you'll get your number blocked and emails ignored by the real estate agent. Found out that the only way to get a response is to put "VCAT" and "Breach" in the emails you send. But if they need something off you, they're more than happy to send emails and calls through.

I was privately renting before it got taken over by Allard Shelton once the property was sold. Once I vacated, I was assured my Allard Shelton that my bond would be released to me as quick as possible. I later found out my bond wasn't transferred over to begin with which meant I needed to contact my previous landlord to enquire about my bond.

These people are so shocking, even my previous landlords had a negative experience with them.

If you're a tenant, these guys do not care about you.
