Stay Away

Stay Away! Joshua Greene ftom All Coast Moving is a fraud. He makes a stressful situation seem less stressful, and that you’re in good hands. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The company farms out Sannah Van Lines who are horrific. Josh promised my items would not be stored. He quoted me a specific price, it came out yo he thousands more!!! Trying to reach Josh after the fact is impossible.
Bottom line is, don’t be fooled by the rep. Karma will come to Josh and the rest of the staff.

This company is the pits!

This debacle happened around the July 4th weekend, but the actual move date changed because this company is horrible and does not keep its word with moving schedules and timelines. BEWARE!

I am REALTOR, and sold my daughter's house in the Houston area. In the process of choosing a moving company for an out-of-state move, they came across All Coast Moving, among others. When my daughter gave the representative an estimated inventory of the home contents, the representative minimized the contents. For instance, if my daughter told her that she had a king sized bed, the rep would say it was a regular sized bed, instead of large boxes, she would indicate on the order that they were small boxes, minimized the amount of furniture, all in order to give my daughter a lower estimate to hook her into using their services. Of course, when the movers arrived with a too small truck, they had to make changes, not only to the truck, but also to the bid, which went thousands of dollars higher. By then, needing to move by a certain date, my daughter was pretty much stuck! To add insult to injury, the moving dates they gave were apparently flexible on their part, because they didn't do anything on the time schedule which had been arranged. My daughter and her family had to wait a week and get an Airbnb while the movers took their time getting to Arkansas. Once the movers had their furniture, they became even more insolent about delivery, rude and obnoxious when asked when they would arrive. It was a horrible experience, and the cost rose astronomically from the original. For all of you who are moving intrastate, find a reputable mover, know that the costs are high, and be prepared. Check the movers out before giving them any money and before making any kind of commitment. Make sure they are registered with the state (contact the Department of Transportation in your state) and check the YELP! reviews and any other reputable sources. Make sure you do your part by giving accurate content information, and then choose the best carrier, not the cheapest, the best. You can't afford the cheapest because they won't end up being cheap, nor will they be reliable. Know that moving intrastate costs thousands of dollars, and go on from there. Moving is stressful enough, why make it worse by hiring a company like All Coast Moving?
Prior to this, seeing that my daughter was having a hard time contacting the company, I called them myself (mothers will!) to confirm their credentials. I asked for the DOT number to confirm that they were registered, and the representative who had been working with them took this as a threat, rather than just providing the information so that I could confirm their legitimacy. Anyway, I looked them up, and the avenue that we needed to use to complain about this company (I didn't tell the representative this). I also checked them out on YELP!, and they had so many bad reviews! Do your due diligence first, not after the fact. In my experience, finding a reputable mover is a crap shoot, so choose the lesser of many evils. Do your due diligence and stay away from companies like this one.

This company is the bane of my…

This company is the bane of my existence. They are a fraud and stole $1284.83 from me. I paid for a pending moving and less than 24 hrs, I cancelled the contract by calling the company and speaking with a Agent, Alexis Miller, who garuntied I would have an unforgetable experience. They were right! After numerous attempts to followup on my refund, I was told, rudely and unprofessionally, that my monies were nonrefundable. How the hell iis this possible when you've NEVER utilized their services. The company is a scam and have defrauded this retired senior veteran, and now will not acknowledge my concerns. If I could give them a negative rating it would be -5 stars. DO NOT waste your time or money with this company or you will suffer untold frustration and misery. I have retained an Attorney to further my efforts in getting my deserved refund.
