Darren and Liam moved us from County Durham to Bedale.
It was a full house move and I highly recommend them. They worked non stop apart from the odd cuppa and choco biscuit (both drink tea with 2 sugars, just so you can have a cuppa ready for them 🤣) Everything was carefully loaded onto the van and couldn't believe how quickly it was unloaded, taking great care of everything, even giving advice of where to place items of furniture 😂
I've since unpacked each box and everything safely delivered.

Third time I've used this company to move me and they've always been so helpful and do their job marvellously. This time I booked two vans two drivers for the day. Right up until 2 days before I wasn't sure the move was happening but kept them informed and they were fine and reassuring. On the day, they were so helpful making sure everything was packed and stored securely in the two vans - reassuring me everything would get in - I have no idea how they did it but they did! At the other end everything was smoothly unpacked efficiently. Highly recommend for a very efficient moving service at a very reasonable price. Great guys as well!

We've just moved home from Northallerton to Northumberland by Darren and his team. The service they provided was excellent. They were well organised and took great care of our possessions. The team were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend to others who need items moving or like us a full removal.

Darren and his team were really helpful and efficient carried all the heavy stuff with apparent ease, helped dismantle beds and even though there was more stuff than I thought, there was no worries. They even helped my pack my own van. Storage was easy and they delivered everything to the new location after a month. Price was reasonable and always responsive by text so definitely recommend Allerton Removals.

First rate. Neil's team cleared my flat in London with its mix of fragile, heavy, and awkward furniture, and transported it up north, in two vehicles. Nothing was too much trouble, and Allerton were responsive from the start, courteous throughout, and didn't stop until all my belongings were in their rightful place, in storage or in my house (which on occasions meant unscrewing sofa coasters, removing doors etc, much of which was unexpected, yet done without complaint). They were very fairly priced as well. An overall excellent service.

Just had a small removal job done by Allerton Removals Northallerton and can’t thank them enough for their care and attention to detail and friendless of the workmen.

These guys worked hard from start to finish. We had a long delay getting keys, meaning the gents couldn't get the vans emptied, but they did not complain, and worked until we were fully moved in. They were friendly, considerate, quick and careful with our belongings. I would recommend them for a house move.

Excellent removal firm. This is currently a really busy time to move and removal firms have very little availability but we managed to secure Allerton Removals and they were excellent. Arrived at the expected time and had our 4 bedroom house cleared inside of 2 hours. They all wore face coverings and were polite and considerate. We then had to wait for the solicitors due to unexpected delays. This meant that we were all forced to wait outside our new house for 6 hours! We completed at 4:40pm and didn't get the keys till 5:30pm but they were straight in to finish the job with no complaints at all. A really great firm that I would gladly use again.

A completely unprofessional company.

We hired this company on a misguided hope that they would help to make our move easier and save us some money in the process. They did neither.

The plan was to move contents from our two bedroomed house to a new three bed, however we had to break the chain, and so, put our possessions into storage.

To start with, two boxes were dropped by the handlers.

Then the prices started changing despite the advertised pricing on the website and the quote that we were given by the company. Some prices were almost double what they should have been.

Upon asking for forms for insurance claims (just in case something was broken) we were fed a string of drivel by the owner of the company to a point where he would only allow us to hire a driver and van to unload OURSELVES into our new house.

We have checked about half of the boxes and only found two broken items so far, which could simply be down to a little heavy handedness, something which we're not that bothered about.

If you do insist on using this company, ensure that:
• you have a full inventory of everything you transfer
• the drivers sign your inventory
• any drops are instantly checked and signed for by the drivers
• make sure you get EVERYTHING from them in writing

Worst experience ever. We'll be hiring a rental van next time.
