The first time I sent the Geber files they I was quite happy with them, as this was my first prototype boards. These were single layers boards. One side the silk screen print, the other side, the solder mask. Simple Right?.. I made some small adjustments to my circuit and resent the files. They printed all the files on one side of the board and said it was my problem for not naming the files? The problem is that I had not changed any of my file names, just the circuit. And as they had already manufactured my circuit boards before with the syntax...gb0...gb2, there was no change there.

Does this mean that that you will not make my boards?

You made me the first board correctly, because the engineer who made my first boards understood that on a single (1 layer) board the silk screen and circuit MUST be on opposite sides. It’s the only way the board can work.
NOT the silk screen and circuit on the same side, this is for (2 layer) boards.

Look at the pictures,
1. The first board you made for me is correct. Order ID: G98725 yes all your layers are named'GBXXX',
The factory engineer needs to look and understand that (1 layer) boards MUST have the circuit on one side and the silk screen on the other side.

2. The Gerber file that I sent you for the second board Order ID: G100365 have the same named'GBXXX',
Only the circuit was changed not the files.

I can understand your feeling. But the problem is not because that our factory fabricated your boards incorrectly. The reason is that the names of files are not correct. According to your design, our engineer can distinguish which layer is copper, solder mask, silkscreen ...etc, but he didn't know the solder mask and silkscreen shouldn't be at the same side. Because according to the names of files, they should be on the same side. Besides, your orders are not handled by the same engineer each time. So our engineer didn't know your design last time. We just fabricate your boards according to your files. If we refund money to you, there will be someone in our company who needs to undertake this cost. But according to the current condition, we cannot find such person who has made mistakes on your order.
I hope that you can undertand.

Order at your own peril

It was my first PCB Assembly order and needless to say I was so nervous that I made many mistakes. Once I uploaded my Gerber file, their service Daria helped my through all my questions and problems, professionally and patiently.

And their prices are always very competitive and placing an order on the ALLPCB website is very easy. The final products turned out to be wonderful! You also can see that the product colors were perfect and the printing was especially clear! Amazing, these turned out better than I imagined. I have to say, it is really a wonderful experience at ALLPCB. Thank you for all your help and great work ALLPCB!

a 6 DAY leadtime turned into a 6 WEEK NIGHTMARE. They made promise after promise for shipping, which were never kept. This was a pretty serious $2300 order.

Using the AllPCB online ordering system is so easy to use and intuitive. The price is updated as you add the board information. It is so easy to swap and change board settings to get the board and the price that is right for you. Once ordered the site allows you to track the progress of the PCB through manufacturer to delivery. My boards are now being used with Arduino UNOs to provide 64 IO ports, a board can be seen populated and mounted on a UNO in the photos. My boards were made and delivered in good time even over the Xmas period. The quality was very good and I got the boards exactly as I had designed them. From the great service I got I would recommend AllPCB. Once ordered the site allows you to track the progress of the PCB through manufacturer to delivery. This is our second order for a double sided pcb with 0,5mm pitch components.
Placed the order on saturday afternoon (europe time) pcb shipped on Monday ... arrived on thursday!

A comment on the silk screen:
The first order was a very small pcb and we got a good product but not so perfect silk screen.
The second order was for more pieces and bigger size the silk screen look perfect!

I think they have two different printing process for small quantity prototypes that look fuzzy and production that look very sharp also on 0,9mm text.

PCB are very well packed and we found some pieces in excess than ordered.

Have tried my 2nd orders from ALLPCB, Perfect and fast production, low prices but high quality. The best pcb producer ever. Thank You!

Once again, very nice PCB from ALLPCB ! They worked directly on the pcbdoc file from Altium. This is a great solution and a time saving for me ! The PCB was delivering earlier than expected. I think ALLPCB is one of the fastest PCB manufacturer. Thank you !

Inconsistent quality and poor customer service

Made a first order earlier and it was good, but when i made my second order the quality dropped. Copper layers seems fine but the silk mask layer is poorly done. Most of the legends were very blur.
Filed a complaint to them but they just try to brush it off by saying the legends could still be identified. Having doubts about their quality control if they deem this sort of quality should be acceptable.

This is the first I try ALLPCB.com. I order 50pcs 4 layers 35mm x 23mm PCBs.

8 mil trace/space
1.6mm FR-4
TG130/140
white soldermask.
My design is not completed and the sale rep Erin find out some errors in my design. Many thanks to her.And the quality is good when I make a test on them.
