I ordered a product online using a legitimate Canadian $ credit card; company incorrectly assumed it was an international & not Canadian credit card
I ordered a product online using a Canadian Visa credit card. I received an email from the Customer Service Supervisor the next day advising that my order had been cancelled because I was using an “international credit card” which All Tides would not accept. This credit card is backed by a Canadian bank. My primary country of residence is not Canada, so when All Tides saw my mailing address, someone mistakenly decided my credit card is based in my country of residence, which is not true. This was an incorrect assumption. I emailed a response within a couple of hours of the All Tides email being sent, and left a voicemail for the Customer Service Supervisor a few hours later on the same day. I never had a response from the company after I reached out. Shame on All Tides Customer Service for not checking with the bank issuing the credit card. BUYER BEWARE WITH THIS COMPANY.
