Disappointing customer service

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience returning items to this company.

I followed the return instructions provided with my order, which stated I could book a courier collection where the driver would bring a return label. However, when I tried to arrange this, that option didn’t exist. I contacted customer support multiple times within the return window asking for a workable solution because I don’t have access to a printer. Despite providing all requested information, I either received generic replies or no response at all.

Because of their incorrect instructions and lack of support, I was left unable to return my items within the timeframe through no fault of my own. I’ve now had to open a PayPal dispute just to get this resolved.

Customer service should not make a simple return this difficult. Until this is addressed, I would strongly advise others to be cautious when ordering, especially if you don’t have easy access to printing facilities.

Absolutely appalling

Absolutely appalling. Ordered a jacket and waited 3 weeks, emailed to be told it’s on its way. The next day I received an email to say sorry the item is out of stock. I emailed several times, jumped on a chat and in the end had to call. The worst of the worst for customer service. Do not trust

Dreadful

Dreadful - still waiting for a refund nearly 3 weeks later since Alo received my returned item.
Alo keep changing their refund timeline - the first email i received said 7 days, the next one said 10 days and now its 15-21 (working) days - absolutely appalling to have to wait up to 1 month for a refund and for them to keep changing their minds on when they will actually refund. So i now have to keep chasing. I will never order from Alo again.

Items didn't arrive poor service - Ordered 4 items, 2 items arrived. Had to wait for them. Sizing is not clear. Tried to order smaller size, had to return and re-order. On the re-order, it doesn't like my address, although, I have ordered with them once already. So, I am unable to order. Chat is rubbish, slow to respond, doesnt answer questions and cant explain what the problem is with my address, despite ordering it previously. Really frustrating for an expensive produce.

Online 0 support for European customers

I had a quality issue with a pair of shoes.
After reaching through their homepage I was told I have to get in touch with the store directly. No help, nothing.
Just "fix your issue yourself".
Not the standard of a Luxury brand in my view.

I ordered a pullover (order #34465876)…

I ordered a pullover (order #34465876) on February 9th. The item was never shipped, and instead I received a virtual store credit without
my consent.
I reached out to customer service multiple times, but they did not provide a proper resolution. I specifically wanted the item I ordered, in the color I chose, which is now sold out.
This experience was very disappointing. I hope Alo improves their fulfillment and refund process so that other customers do not face the same issue.
update: After my review, the company reached out and processed a full refund to my original payment method. I appreciate that the issue was eventually resolved, although the initial experience was frustrating.

Appalling customer service/Poor Quality Clothing

Appalling customer service - Be Vigilant checking your invoice -
Company needs investigating false advertising of misleading information advertising free gifts with purchase (never received)
Refund still not received - I am still chasing my refund
I have also been charged for the ‘free’ tote bags that never even arrived

Terrible experience

Bought a sweater from them to be shipped to London for my sister’s birthday. The item never arrived, wasn’t even shipped after 2 weeks of purchasing. So after a lot of back and forth I decided to call them and demand my money back. That was also an ordeal in itself but hopefully will get my money back. Very dissatisfied with this company and their customer service, better to be avoided and the quality is awful as I hear.

I am a very loyal customer spending so…

I am a very loyal customer spending so much money with Alo. The accolade items just bobble after one wash… it’s disgraceful for the price they are charging. No straightforward way of contacting them to rectify issues. I have over 2000 Alo Access points that I can never use as the gifts are always out of stock - to be honest none of them even seem like a gift for all the money and loyalty shown and spent! I think I’ll be moving away from this brand now sadly.

The $150+ sweatshirt was actually worth…

The $150+ sweatshirt was actually worth about $10 and started to fall apart less than 24 hours after purchase. Good on them for whoever they are marketing towards but I will never purchase a thing from them again. And they make it hard to review on site. I suspect they know how poor their products are. Zero stars if I could. Bad product, bad taste all around.

I’m extremely disappointed with my…

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at alo. The quality of the clothes is great, but the customer service has been consistently poor and unprofessional.

On multiple visits I felt judged and treated differently depending on how I was dressed. The staff seem selective about who they choose to help, and the attitude has come across as rude and dismissive more than once.

Today was the worst experience. I placed a same day delivery order early in the morning so I could wear the outfit to the gym. The store handed my order to the wrong person, which led to the actual driver canceling the delivery. I spent over an hour on the phone trying to resolve a mistake that was not mine. First I was told they would fix it, then I was informed they could no longer deliver and that I had to reorder after waiting all that time.

No accountability, no real solution, and no effort to make things right after the stress and inconvenience caused. I genuinely love the brand’s style, but the way customers are treated needs serious improvement.

APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE

I’ve been an on-current customer purchasing ALO as I’ve been a fan of the brand, but I’m extremely disappointed with this matter. Order online from Ireland. I was expecting 3-5 business days for delivery as the order had been confirmed on 12 December. I’ve been waiting 2 months now for the order to arrive and I’m extremely frustrated with how ALO is treating this. I went to the shop, they said they can’t do anything about it as they don’t authorise online orders. I’ve tried refunding but the process is having to wait for the order to arrive in order to refund. It’s ridiculous I’ve to wait this long, with no confirmation or update on the order as well. I’ve already emailed ALO multiple times and still yet to receive any response from them. I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service. An order shouldn’t have to take this long that you’re paying good money for.
— WILL NOT BE BUYING FROM THIS BRAND AND WOULDN’T RECOMMEND!!!

This company has the absolute worst…

This company has the absolute worst customer service ever!!!!
I ordered and paid for a gift my daughter wanted for Christmas and they sent the wrong item and won’t replace it. They are nasty and rude and nits been months trying to deal with them. Their product is low quality and trash!!

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever – extremely disappointing quality and customer service

This has been, without question, the worst experience I have ever had with a premium clothing brand.

I purchased a Candy Hearts hoodie and matching shorts (€225 total) from an official Alo Yoga store at Westfield London while traveling. The set was from a newly released collection and was washed once before first wear, strictly according to the care instructions. I never even got the chance to wear the items, because after this single wash they became severely pilled and completely unwearable.

This level of quality is unacceptable for such expensive activewear. What makes the situation even worse is the customer service. Despite providing clear photos and explanations, I was repeatedly told that nothing could be done. Alo USA claimed they are separate from Europe and refused responsibility, and I was essentially told that because I did not order online, this is “my fault.”

I do not live in the UK, and there is no Alo Yoga store in my country, so this response leaves me with defective products and no support whatsoever. No refund, no replacement, no real help — just excuses and deflection of responsibility.

For a brand that positions itself as premium, this is shocking. Poor product quality combined with zero accountability and dismissive customer service has completely destroyed my trust in Alo Yoga. I would strongly reconsider buying from this brand.
