I was in a car accident while working…

I was in a car accident while working during February which was settled in December, the third party was at fault and admitted it. It took a long time to get seen by the medical team then schedule physiotherapy however the Alps team were always in contact with any updates and explaining situations on the phone.

I am happy with the outcome of my case and appreciate all the help and support I’ve received.

DO NOT USE OR PAY FOR VIA YOUR CAR INSURANCE

Unfortunately, this was the solicitor appointed by my car insurance company after my RTC.
If I could have voted 0, I would, do not pay for this solicitors via your car insurance. Knock the legal cost of and get a separate policy!! Absolutely the worse solicitor possible. Poor customer service, poor communication. Not only poor communication, poor quality of Information in the communication. The phrase left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. I had to continually chase for answers to questions. Only for them to have no idea. The portal never updated. I gave up in the end after a disastrous sting of emails to several questions and accepted the 3rd parties offer, so I wouldn't have to deal or liaise with ALPS. Just absolutely rubbish. Also what I don't understand is after 11 reviews (mine being the 12th) and along with my review scoring 1 star, how the jolly roger overall star rating is 2 stars. I'm no rocket mathematician, however 12 scores of 1 star gives an average of... 1 Star

Would give 0 rating if possible

I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with ALPS since my serious car accident in December 2021.

It is now over a year and a half later and I am no where near a resolution. I never get any feedback unless I initiate it on my side. When I do, I am told there is nothing they can do- just follow the process!

Their “service” is absolutely shocking! The accident was 100% the other parties fault which he admitted on the day. I am in pain daily, pain killers daily and have had almost zero help from ALPS. I have had more luck with my GP than ALPS (although the GP help has also not been great).

They cannot give me any sort of plan of action nor deadline, basically being told “sorry you’re in so much pain but you’ll just have to wait”

AVOID THIS COMPANY COMPLETELY!!

If you want any resolution- do not use them!

“Best” part of my experience with them was when they advised me after about 6 weeks they have a settlement offer for me to replace the car seats I had to buy. I then pointed out that I’m actually needing medical assistance not a massive payout but apparently that would require them to do their jobs which is what obviously too much to ask.

In case I didn’t get my message across clearly enough- avoid, avoid, AVOID!!

EDIT: As expected, after this review and an email to them, by 10am the next day I had a reply from them and absolutely nothing since. However, they’ve assured me they’re doing “everything they can” but I’m sure if I were to email them again now I would get another response tomorrow- communication only when initiated from their client, very frustrating and disappointing service.

Completely useless!

Complete Rubbish ALPS Ref: ML187251

How can you have an accident and clearly it was another parties fault (motor cyclist) with the way they hit my vehicle and this legal practice agree it was 50/50 fault! Next time instead of calling for an ambulance we will watch the driver suffer from the injuries caused by their stupid actions! The whole insurance system is a total scam, noone can be bothered to sensibly look at the facts. Avoid yet another poor practice if you can call them that

Another wide boy outfit that will let you down at roadside!

My vintage Sunbeam Alpine broke down on a very busy road in a dangerous situation. Waited over 20 minutes to talk to someone on the phone at ALPS; gave up and rang a local company who arrived in 40 minutes. Picked up all sorts of recovery and storage costs that ALPS are now refusing to refund dispite having admitted trialling a new break down company and admitting they were negligent. Clearly one of these companies that takes your money and doesn't provide a service which of course is fraud. I am taking action through HM courts service. I would avoid at ALL cost! Another wide boy outfit!

ALPS Avoid!!!

I choose this company as I have option that they not gonna charge me fee for the claim. Please avoid this company, poor communication, underestimate claims, only want have the claim to be closed. They sending documents to sign without reports to Read. My first handler Tasneem which messed up my claim is gone, second handler disappeared after one email and the third handler Nick C. contacted me that they won't pay for any further help whille the previous one said that they will as its under policy. So they only proceed when is easy case and don't care about your suffering and leaving you for more costs as I need to sue them to get what I deserve.PLEASE AVOID!!!

Poor service from Alps Legal.

Awful service.
12 months after a non - fault accident and still waiting for my car hire and vehicle recovery costs to be paid by the third party ( Direct Line ). Weeks pass without Alps Legal replying to me. Ask a question by email and they answer another unrelated one rather than engage with your query.
Seems they are happy to deal with the injury claims which presumably earn higher fees, but not the smaller stuff.
I would not agree to them acting for me again.

Worse company to deal with there is no…

Worse company to deal with there is no professionalism at all. They do not care about customers at all, they keep on changing caseworker, will lead to case running for years, new case worker then needs to be contacted by yourself because they cannot be bothered to contact you. They ignore your emails when you are trying to chase your case. When you ask questions about your case the case worker will reply to your email with the following:

"I will not enter into protracted correspondence on the issue"

Horrible company to deal with

Terrible service, compounded with an arrogant and rude attitude towards customers...

ALPS acted for my wife in a no fault accident 2 years ago. They dragged their heels over repairing her car, firstly losing the survey they had done to ascertain what repairs were needed, which caused us to have to come back in to the appropriate garage, to have the car reevaluated all over again. They then took literally months to submit this paperwork for approval from the 3rd party, meaning my wife's car was off the road from April until October 2017!...

They then provided a courtesy hire car in September 2017, after weeks of complaining and badgering... the third party raised a query about the nature of the need for this courtesy car, and ALPS contacted me in Feb 2018 to ask for some paperwork to satisfy the third party...

I duly sent this paperwork over and expected it to be the end of the matter...

Then out of nowhere they ring my wife 4 months ago (September 2018), demanding payment of an invoice relating to the VAT element of hiring the courtesy vehicle, that we are 100% not liable to pay...

I told them to refer to our insurance company/broker to obtain the information that they need to clarify the situation...

Upon hearing this, the matter fell silent, until the day before yesterday (Jan 2019) where they sent an email to my wife, demanding payment of this invoice or they would escalate it to their litigation department! An invoice that we never received or were made aware of at the time, and at the time of writing has still not been sent to us...

A terrible company with a terrible grasp for customer service... DO NOT USE!

7+ months to process a claim

7+ months to process a claim , blaming the Spanish insurers we were claiming from , and the intermediary company they used for international claims......
Followed by even more ridiculous references to non existent procedures, laws and " oh its so very complicated in Spain "
Two phone calls by me to the intermediary they were blaming revealed they had mixed up my Spanish claim with someone on the M25 , and then after my FOURTEENTH phone call , hastily sent incomplete info , they received in full from me 5 months before.
Absolute rubbish. Disgraceful.
Clegg Giifford , who referred this to them have washed their hands of it.

Very Poor Service

Very Poor Service, have to deal with this company as Clegg Gifford & Co referred to them for claim handling as part of Insurance Cover.
Avoid these to save hassle, as they will claim your money and keep it with them, will reporting them to FCA, as still they are holding our money.
