I always like supporting non Amazon shops, so I want to believe in Alternate. But writing this in the hope that they get where to improve. I ordered son's presents (about 5 items, order no 1102003727177) on Sunday 14/12 - the recommended latest to arrive in time for Xmas, and well before their stated delivery of 2-4 days. One of the items it turned out they couldn't get hold off...that's fine, but the problem is they didn't inform me until Friday 19/12. Now it's 24/12 and I see that the gifts will not arrive. They get two stars for being prompt to reply when I wrote, but am left disappointed that it took them an entire week to inform me that the order was delayed and I'll have to find alternate solutions for his presents.
Everything was great the only think i would like to see is when I placed the order would like to have immediate confirmation of the order! I did't see it on the account nor was not sure the payment went thru simply i was in unknown until next day when the order show up on my account. When i spend thousand Eur i would like to have assurance that this is not a scam! This is not that difficult !!!
I ordered a €3081 high-end computer from Alternate with an estimated delivery date of June 12th.
UPS confirmed the delivery for June 23rd, but never came.
Same on June 24th – no delivery attempt, no phone call, no note, even though I was home both days. UPS falsely marked the package as “undeliverable”.
On June 25th, the shipment status changed to “Return to Sender Requested” — without my consent and without a delivery attempt that day either.
Alternate’s only response was: “you’ll get a refund once we receive it back.”
No apology. No compensation. No urgency.
So now I’ve:
• waited over 13 days
• missed multiple delivery dates
• been told to wait even longer for a refund
— all for an expensive product that never reached me.
This is not how a €3000+ order should be handled. I expected better service and responsibility from a serious retailer.
well, you always send me exactly what i asked for, you always let me know where the package is, and the arrival time is always reasonable. good work guys.
Delivery was very fast. One of the parts were unfortunately damaged, but the company exchanged it for a new component!

Worst service ever!
20 Feb 2020 Purchased hiking poles for € 127.90 and shipment was € 7.90
24 Feb 2020 They informed me that they can't deliver my order, delivered promised to 05 March 2020
06 March 2020 I asked them what's with my purchase, they promised delivery at 15 April 2020
18 April 2020 they promised delivery at 15 May 2020
8 May 2020 I've got notification that I should go to delivery point to get my package. For paid shipment!
What I've seen? They send me wrong model! Cheaper one!
18 May 2020 They asked me to send wrong item back to replace it with correct one
28 May 2020 they got returned item and know what? They just refunded the price of it! Without € 7.90 of shipment expenses and any excuses. But I asked them not for refund but for replacement. I just want my desired model.
First time faced with that s**t. Even Chinese sellers form Aliexpress are more client oriented. Alternate guys just don't care about anything.
I tried to contact them via their phone. Well, 20 minutes of waiting, without any result.
